EARLY RELEASE! FOR STALKER: ANOMALY

Credit?: Credit will be given to all respective authors, but only once the mod is in a stable and unchanging state. Due to the nature of modding and because I am a single person, I can't keep track of developing the mod and managing the credits at the same time, one thing at a time for finished and polished work.

Why the early release?: The original plan was to not have it released yet, but I was pressured to try and share it among a small group of friends so they could help play test it. However I lack the storage space on other medias and the mod itself is almost too large for this site alone (hence multiple parts) due to all the graphical enhancements. And so here it is, being released, I suggest keeping your eye on it till it's more stable and only download knowing it's unfinished and may be buggy or unstable.

The Plan: The plan is to release the pack to my circle of friends as well as to those in the public willing to help; iron out the bugs, flesh out the mod list, fix the issues and crashes. Then from there I can add the credits as needed, the pack could very well be in a stable state as I write this but I lack time to test every location and character.

It's just me: As it says, it's just me working on this and I'm a fairly busy guy, I'm an on call IT Technician and find myself pretty busy fairly often, that being said I'm decently confident in the current state of the mod pack, and with my free time and the support of the community I like to think we can turn this pack into the ultimate vanilla experience. All suggestions and fixes made or posted by the community will be taken seriously and considered, after a short sift through I will determine if they are officially added into the pack as a new version or remain as optional downloadable addons.

The Mod Pack:

This mod pack is designed to be used on it's own or to act as the starting point for further modding to be put on top of it, currently the mod adds no extra features to the game other than; weapons, weapon customization, changes made to medical. and additional generated missions. Beyond that the game remains vanilla, what does get changed/added are: New weapons (BAS), animations (FDDA), AI changes, sounds, general textures, and some economy balances mainly in weapon maintenance (see known bugs)

The current pack consists of about 69 mods (nice) and I don't plan on it going up to or over 75, however that being said suggestions and ideas will be taken into consideration. The mod pack is also fairly customizable, anything in the modpack labeled as optional can for the most part be turned on or off at the user discretion. The only exceptions to this is are that if an optional mod overwrites or is overwritten that when disabling or enabling it you do so with all relevant patches/updates.

I don't expect this mod pack to blow up very much, but my previous one did so if you're reading this, thanks for the support. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Bugs:

Should you run into any bugs please report them on here, before that view known bugs first to see if your a repeat. If your not, please note that non game breaking bugs while will be fixed are less prioritized, if your bug is game breaking and/or causes crashing please include how to replicate the issue as well as the last dozen or so lines of your log file as the rest of it is just fluff or may contain personal info.

Bugs: (Known)

Two bugs are known but fairly low priority as I test the pack:

  1. The UI has some extra elements, as it stands the plan is to remove the stamina, health and physic bar from the bottom left, I also plan to remove the ammo counter only keeping the status balls that appear when they need too. Health management will be done from the inventory and Groks health and body system (default H key)
  2. Some balancing issues exist, I was playing with usage values on various equipment and items as a proof of concept, mainly weapon and armor maintenance, these values will be adjusted and played with including their price. But I disliked how a multi-tool or file broke magically after only 10 uses or so, I aim to change that and make it more realistic.
