This is a small, lightweight mod with one purpose: To fix the absolutely terrible, unreadable English text for AMK. I am in the process of going through all the AMK-specific dialogue and rewriting it, replacing the awful, barely translated broken English with something easily readable and (hopefully) entertaining. I'm no professional writer, but it's not hard to do a better job than what's already there, so hopefully playing with this mod will be a pleasurable experience.
Features:
- Completely redone AMK text. The dialogue, various stories, quests, and PDA diary entries the mod adds to the game are now much more readable and grammatically correct.
- Broken (missing) text now displays properly. The infamous "dialog_amk_##_recipt" conversation is fixed and now displays properly, as well as various PDA diary entries.
- Compatibility with most, if not all, other AMK addons.
Installation and Compatibility
- This mod should only be used with AMK 1.4, English version 2.0.94 FINAL.
- It is fully compatible with the AMK for 1.0005 hotfix.
- It should be compatible with most, if not all, graphical overhauls. STALKER Weather Overhaul, Absolute Nature/Structures, STALKER Shaders MAX, and the "AMK Complete" method of combining AMK with Complete 2009's textures, shaders, and meshes are all confirmed compatible and fully supported.
- This mod is included in the "Zone of Alienation" adaptation of AMK.
- This mod is 100% compatible with existing game saves, starting a new game is not required.
- This mod is NOT compatible with the Narodnaya Soljanka ("People's Soup") mod, even though it contains AMK. A compatibility patch may be coming in the future.
- This mod should generally be copied over last, after AMK and any patches have been installed. Otherwise the dialogue changes may be overwritten.
- If you believe that a mod you downloaded or created is conflicting with this addon, please don't hesitate to contact me with the name of the mod and a working download link. Compatibility patches are easy to make, and I would be more than happy to add support for any mod that is not working properly with AMK Retranslated.

I just finished up work on version 0.3 of AMK Retranslated, and am currently waiting for Moddb to authorize the download link so you all can download it. Version 0.3 is a sizable improvement over v0.2 and a a huge improvement over v0.1, so I would recommend that everyone download this update. Version 0.3 will be the last content update between v0.1 and v1.0.
Starting tomorrow I'll be working on the remaining unfixed AMK text, and upon completing it I will be uploading version 1.0 of the mod. Version 1.0 will the first version of the mod to fulfill my original goals for the project: It will be an entirely comprehensive overhaul of AMK's English text and dialogue. After that full-time development of the mod will come to close, although I'll still be supporting the mod with bug fix patches. I also still have plans to make a Narodnaya Soljanka compatibility patch after v1.0 is released.
Again, I would like to thank everyone who downloaded this mod for your support and encouragement. The original promise of a completely overhauled English AMK is close to being fulfilled, and I'm extremely happy with the way the mod is turning out. I noticed that on AMK:SE They have included the "AMK EN patch".
I'm not sure whether or not it serves the same purpose as your mod.

AMK Retranslated should work fine with the Sidorovich Edition. And the AMK EN patch is not the same thing as AMK Retranslated. AMK without the EN patch is completely in Russian. AMK EN is the original, official English translation for the mod, which my enhances and replaces.
