Full Version 1 commentFixed version of Sprut Evolution mod. Subtitle error fixed, fixed bug when Max has no revolver on start. Fixed bug with chapter selector.
OK, guys. Too many people had errors after running, so we (me and AntiEvil) uploaded fixed version (1.1). Now it must works fine for everyone!

Original "Спрут" (rus. "The Octopus") mod is developed in 2007 as unofficial Max Payne 3.
After release of the "Payne Evolution" mod I decided to mix both mods
and make "Sprut Evolution”. Now it looks like more Max Payne 3 than
before.
The story based on the “La piovra” (“The Octopus”/”Спрут”) TV series about the Mafia. Max Payne helps the INTERPOL with investigation about medical frauds because it’s somehow
connected with the Russian Mafia, especially with Vlad Lem. But how? That’s Max
must find out.
This mod mostly was known only in Russia and in some parts of East Europe before.
“Pirates” did a lot of illegal CD copies with repacked Max Payne 2 and Sprut
modification, and sold them to people as “Max Payne 3” or just “official Max
Payne 2 addon”. Original developers of the “Sprut” are still unknown.
Mod has new 7 levels. Full walkthrough takes about 2 hours on easy difficulty. Since mod
was done by Russians, it was fully on Russian language. So, I’ve added English
subtitles.

Do you ever plan on releasing a translated Sprut without Payne Evolution? I really wanna try the original version. I don't like everything Evolution does.
DeXiaZ I know it's 2k17 but i remembered of old max payne 2 and then mods, and then sprut evolutoin, replayed it, enjoyed. then i found speedrun mod, and then i did this. i hope you like what i did and that somebody have done a speedrun on your mod click on link if you want to watch results Radikal.ru
also summ of mine split runs is 09:42:36 (reply me what you think about it)
I found a Big bug while playing through the Hotel level, i.e about half way through the level I found that all of the enemies discarded guns that I picked up where no longer usable as they were all without ammo, and I must have picked up about 20 guns but they were & all empty, so it is a bug.
It's a big bug of the original "Payne Evolution" mod. Possibly you played it wrong because The_Silver did everything to make mod playable.
There is an error when loading hotel after talking to the russian guy at the second floor. What should i do?!
Could you post "text" of this error?
In the hotel level there is a unbeatable man!
You just need push button in security room (where you kill first enemy) and after it gates to upstairs will open
I have modificated a younger Max Payne 3 skin texture (Suit Max and Bald Max)
I dont know how to convert them to playable in other mods but I can give you if you want, free to use in any mods
Well, thank you, but I think it's not so easy to add new skin to released mod. It needs special .bat file with programmed commands (repacker) or we need to recreate mp2m file from sratch (over 500 mb) AGAIN.
Anyway, you can release your skin texture as stanadlone mod.
well a friend helped me to convert it to Payne Effects 3 mod
and i was able to create it as an addon for PE3

data folder not good, cause game read it even without moad. And you need rename it if you wanna play another mod or vanilla Max Payne 2
