Yeah, I've only seen COD4 and MW3 have it and they weren't bad actually, but they weren't multiplayer.

Well you are right about that. You just hear about the 20 little kids at Sandy Hook. Hardly much about the adults who died. If it bleeds it leads, is the medias motto. I prefer the older similar quote "If it bleeds, we can kill it!"
