Are you a fan of Dawn of War's single player, but find yourself bored by the repetitive grind of most of the Soulstorm campaign? Are you looking for a more narrative experience than endless skirmish missions when playing as one of the many race mods available? If the answer to either of the above questions is yes, then this mod will be of interest to you. The Soulstorm: Strongholds mod unlocks all sixteen Dark Crusade and Soulstorm stronghold maps, allowing you to play them directly from the skirmish menu - cutscenes, objectives and all. More than that, though, it allows you to play using one of the many race mods currently available, in addition to the nine included with Soulstorm. Download and enjoy. :)

Description

Just another quick fix this time around, once again for the Dark Eldar stronghold. Make sure you have v1.4.0 already installed (v1.4.1 patch optional but not required), then extract the contents of stronghold_missions_ss_v1_4_2.zip to your main Soulstorm folder, overwriting files when prompted.

Yeah, that's always been a problem I'm afraid. Only real solution is to play each mission in one sitting.

This has always been a problem on all the missions in this mod as far as I know ever since the first release.

What sort of crashes are you getting? Are they just straight dumps to desktop or are you getting Fatal Scar Errors?

Could be a memory issue. Are you using Ntcore to increase the available RAM? Link here: Moddb.com but for Steam version only.

If this doesn't help, are the crashes happening for any particular mission, or while playing as any particular race or anything like that?
