An old world. A new faith.
It is a time of change and challenge for the once mighty and seemingly invincible Roman Empire. Not too long ago, countless devastating civil wars tore apart the realm of the Caesars, and left the Empire weak and divided. But a series of strong Emperors from the Illyrian provinces managed to stitch the troubled state back together. But the brave Aurelian, the wise Diocletian, and the great Constantine are all dead. Once again there is civil war. Once again brother stands against brother. Once again the die is cast - but can one man turn the tide?
SOMNIVM APOSTATAE IVLIANI offers the player three campaigns to choose from, involving historical characters such as Julianus, Constantius II, Shapur II, Valentinian I, Valens and the usurper Procopius. The aim of this mod is to capture the events and changes, both militarily, socially and religious that were unfolding in the era of Julianus and his dream of a new Paganism.

this looks great and stable.
but I cannot change the campaigns. when I have installed it at the options, it starts still with the default campaign. at the start screen where I choose the factions it is shown the correct campaign - this works fine with all 3 campaigns. but the game starts only with 361 ad.
AND
faction Saxons. There these "Gesipe" (Champions) unit. But no building shows to train it?!
So I don't know which buildung provides this. is it to build in the capital. Or is this a unit, to build always with no building in the capital?

Franks "and" Germans? Franks are Germans ;)
and the Quadi are only a small part of the Suebi. I miss the Suebi which moved to western Spain.

This excellent mod is very good with interesting units representing military of late 4th Century
First,i want to thank all that made this marvelos mod.I want to ask,is it possible for me to make the scripts *** they are in the otiginal game without forced diplomace and events that where made for the mode but keep the overol look of the mod the new map,units,bildings.Becouse i realy like what you made with these mode but the scripts makeit to heavy for my computer.

In the options folder you will find alternate scripts with just the turns per year. May I suggest you try installing the one for the campaign you are playing and take it from there. Cheers JH
