SMOD is a single player mod of Valve's first-person shooter Half-Life 2. The new content consists of many new NPCs and weapons, new gamemodes, comprehensive customization and tweaking options, new abilities for the player, and new features to the gameplay, such as level randomization and simple branching in the otherwise linear flow of the main episodes.
A mod that brings out good old memories and nostalgia, and also a good way to replay Half-Life 2 if you're bored of playing the same game all over of the same way. Unfortunately the mod is broken as hell and needs urgent patching because some maps are unplayable because they bring CTDs on loading screens.

SMOD Elite is a blast, the guns and performance is good. Sometimes crashes, but it's overall okay.
una maravilla, pero yo nunca probé el SMOD elite, así que veamos, pero en general es uno de los mejores mods a mi justo, contiene muchas armas algunas normales y otras muy raras pero el mod es muy bueno.

A definite improvement on HL2. I'm surprised I didn't find it sooner.
My only complaint is that the elites super fast speed is annoying.
