SMOD is a single player mod of Valve's first-person shooter Half-Life 2. Hey. Is that normal that I dont have some maps like: d2_coast_06, 08 and 10? Or d2_prison_04? Is the mod not completed yet?
I literally have only maps from d1_eli_01 til the d2_prison_07, while also missing maps that I mentioned in the first comment. Please Help)

Probably because Standalone wasnt installed properly
how did you fix the yellow skybox over coast_03, im having that problem myself (different smod version)
Delete the "maps" folder inside SDKbase
Or create an empty txt file inside your mod's maps folder and rename it to d2_coast_03.lmp
For missing skybox copy it from HL2
You can also just install this patch for your smod version, it will works without changing anything

Hey about standalone version, there's no settings like lean left, lean right, night vision binds, and at the bottom there's no dev binds, this is supposed to be like that? I.imgur.com

There are two folders in Patch archive "Smod Elite" and "Smod Elite Standalone Patch". Should i to not touch "Smod Elite" folder, if i already have it installed early?
Yes.
If you want to play with Standalone you'll need to install the Standalone Patch.
You should also install Elite Patch to fix bugs and error
Everytime I try to launch it, it just says "materials\console\startup_loading.vpk" is missing. Can someone please help me?

Right so uh, the game crashes 99% of the time when a level starts loading. It just crashes every time a level loads. like, after "LOADING" it just crashes. And NPC scripted sequences are also broken. How do you fix this? I tried putting those patches in sourcemods but that didn't do anything.
You're suppose to put the content inside the "smod_elite" folder not sourcemods

Man, i need help, when i install the standole patch and i restart steam, when i open the game, he closes and this message its reveleated (Could not load library client. Try Restarting, if that doesn´t work, verify cache)
i already try to pass client.dll and server.dll from source SDK 2006 and 2007 to the BIN folder from SMOD Elite ETN.

I install the mains files and the patch (not the SMOD Standalone) and still with the same error, i don´t know why.
Are you starting the game with stanalone.exe or hl2.exe
SMOD Standalone doesn't need Steam btw

Did you not read the description - you're suppose to run this using SMOD Standalone not with Steam
Install SMOD Standalone then put "smod elite" into "smod standalone/mods" then start the game with stanalone.exe
hey, i have the problem on standalone that my complete menu, healtbar or weapon icons are pink. How can i fix this ?
Pink/Black combo mean missing texture
Weapon icons are located in materials/VGUI/wepIcon
When I open the game, I dont see any menu options, just the background. I installed all patches and Im using standalone.

Start the game with the standalone.exe in the folder
What about the material console startup.vtf bug?
try copying any vmt file and put it in materials/console then rename it startup.vmt
Some maps can cause missing textures.
