v.2 - Added Tactical 1.0 Maps.

INSTALLATION. (original by whitedude877 / new* by Marc)
*1. Extract the "Smod Standalone" folder in this archive to where you have "Smod Standalone" folder location. Yes to overwrite all files when asked.

*2. Play the game with new additional scenariors and not just the HL2 campaign!

*IMPORTANT!!!: -Some maps need to be restarted after having been loaded for the first time so the AI can move about as normal, or so the AI can spawn; sometimes a black screen fade-out will end the map immediately. Rule of thumb is to just load a map twice. -whitedude877

*ALSO IMPORTANT!!!: MOST OF THESE MAPS NEEDS HL2:DEATHMATCH and COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE INSTALLED TO RUN PROPERLY. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THEM THEN YOU CAN'T PLAY THESE MAPS WITHOUT PROBLEMS IF AT ALL. Encrypted pre-loads of them will NOT work correctly. -Onemanshow

Already included in this install are maps and scenarios that you can play in addition to the already available scenarios provided by Tactical 1.0. As there is only a limit of 38 maps that can be displayed on the map menu (where you select Half-Life 2 chapters), I included 6 specific (fun ones) from my personal preference.

If you want to launch the other scenarios, then you may do so by using the console. To do so: Go into options\keyboard\advanced\enable developer console, hit ~ (above TAB), and then type maps *, submit. You'll see a list of all maps, including HL2 campaign maps, as well as the dm, tdm, de, and cs maps.

GAMEMODES:
__________________________________________________________________

ASSASSINATE
Much like Combine Hunt, only you have to kill a specific target(s) instead of all the enemies.

COMBINE HUNT
If it's hostile, kill it. Allies may or may not be able to help depending on the map.

COUNTER COMBINE
Much like Combine Hunt, but more based on the gameplay of Counter Stike. You and the enemies are spawned at fixed points in the map and have to hunt each other down.
Maps with the (RB) prefix have round-based gameplay where you are given new weapons depending on you performance in the round(s) before.

DOWNLOAD
You have to find a combine terminal located in the area and start downloading the information within. When you start it, enemies will attempt to stop you and cancel the download. You must hold them off.

ESCORT
You start off with an Ally or Allies that much be escorted to safety. Depending on the map there may be other objectives.

HOSTAGE RESCUE
In these maps you must rescue hostages the combine have taken. Hostages typically start unarmed, but can be pick up weapons on the floor or dropped by you.
At least one hostage must reach the extraction zone (typically located where you start) to win. If all the hostages die, you lose.
Maps with the (RB) prefix have round-based gameplay where you are given new weapons depending on you performance in the round(s) before.

ITEM RECOVERY
These maps involve the recovery of a important item or items of interest from enemy territory. Eliminating enemies is not required for completion.

SURVIVAL
Survival maps have you lasting as long as possible against a never-ending swarm of enemies. Depending on the map, the enemies may be Combine or Zombies.
Maps with the (B) prefix have weapons on the walls that can be bought using money collected from killing enemies.

ZOMBIE HUNT
Much like Combine Hunt, except instead of Combine you must clear out any and all zombies from the area.

KNOWN ISSUES/NOTES in Original Mappack(by whitedude877):

-Regarding the maps which imitate Counter Strike rounds of player vs Combine, reset, and money. There is supposed to be a buy menu, but I'm not sure how to call it.
When I do, I'll post a fix.
-Some maps will play music depending on the version of SMOD you are running, some will not. It involves editing of the levels_sounds_music file, but as I was doing this, some
sounds were breaking so I left it alone.
-Some maps need to be restarted after having been loaded for the first time so the AI can move about as normal, or so the AI can spawn; sometimes a black screen fade-out will end the map immediately. Rule of thumb is to just load a map twice.
-The astute person will notice Lost Coast is not included here. I couldn't get it to work because GCFScape isn't working for me, and I couldn't locate any Lost Coast files
online. If someone ends up fixing it, let me know.
-On the maps where you have allies, and they do not attack Combine, simply restart the map
-In the original files of the mappack, Onemanshow had cfg files that added maps to the chapter select menu. I have omitted this because I found it made certain things messy
in my tests
-Antlion_assault can be a real frame dropper.
-Don't worry about the broken text during parts of the map. They are to note what game mode the map is. Game modes differentiate between killing the enemy, or gathering item(s) (which also
involves killing the enemy)
-If you find yourself dying near instantaneously against enemies in these maps, load up a campaign map. For some reason that helps. I tested it, and tested it, but even
on easy mode I would just die instantly until I ran an HL2 map first. Doesn't always occur.
-Zombies and houndeyes, on these maps, move much faster than in the HL2 campaign. That was intentional on part of the authors.
