The first SMC Map Lab, Halloween Horror has recently been released.
If you didn't know, "SMC Map Labs" is HL2: EP2 mapping competitions hosted by the SMC Discord staff team.
The maps that are submitted in time for the deadline will be judged by our judges.
The judges for the first one were Toki, WALLe PL, Chris M., The Renegadist, and Dolmo.
We got 8 entries, however, one of them was submitted after the deadline so it wasn't judged.
In case you're wondering about the results here they are. The maximum is 30 points.
Each map was judged on Gameplay, Visuals, and Immersion.
#1 The Sun Vanished with 23.8 points
#2 Shadow Walker 2 with 22.6 points
#3 Mom and Dad with 21.8 points
#4 Gracey Manor with 17.2 points
#5 Terminus with 13.8 points
#6 Unanswered Questions with 12.4 points
#7 Lab-map with 6.6 points
I'd also like to talk a little about the next Map Lab. There won't be one in November, but there could be one in December.
We also will not be doing Beta or Epistle 3 Map Labs, but if anyone has any suggestions for future ones then feel free to suggest.
