The goal of this modification is very simple - make every single skill worth spending 20 points. The mod is very conservative - there are no new skills, only slightly changed the old ones. In a nuthell, the mod offers more build options and better character customisation. It could be considered an unofficial patch, since it tries to be accepted by as many vanilla players as possible. Once the mod is finished, I'll consider creating a thread on battle.net forums, where other players and Blizzard can show their interest in the mod. Who knows, maybe the changes will appear in the next official patch! I'm writing this so that you can see that I'm putting a lot of time and energy into this, trying to do the best I can. This is a D2SE modplugin. Extract and place the folder 'Skiller' into your 'MODS' directory in your Diablo folder.
Thunder Storm - added 15% dmg synergy from Static Field, synergy from Teleport (decreases interval between hits).
Frozen Armor - increased freeze length (1s per lvl). +1 max cold res for each hard point. Increased % def for level (5->10%).
Shiver Armor - increased dmg, chill lenght decreased to minimum (2 frames - can be increased by investing into Frozen Armor, up to 25,6s (maximum)). Decreased base defense (45->20%).
Chilling Armor - the same as Shiver Armor.
Inferno - increased synergies.
Blaze - removed Fire Wall synergy, increased Warmth synergy. Increased duration (up to 40s), added 1s duration for hard point (so max duration is 60s).
Fire Wall - increased synergy from Inferno (1%->6%)
Important note: all three armors (frozen + shiver + chilling) can be applied at once!
