This is the Massive Fleets submod from Skalgrim Mod. Its a simple standalone mod that increases the original games fleetsizes and battlesizes for the Campaign - meaning (MUCH) larger battles. This is NOT included in the standard version the Skalgrim Mod but can be added if you want.
So YES this works for the Vanilla game. Just like the "Larger fleets" mod. But it ALSO works for the Skalgrim mod.

Installation:
1:Pray to the Omnissiah, god of the blessed Machine.
2:Always make copys of your original files before modding a game.
3:You need change the launch options in Steam. This is done by right-clicking on the game in Steam - Then selecting properties - Then Set Launch Options. Here you need to write -NoEAC . Good, now you need to start up the game. It should read Stormancer disabled in the top right corner. If it does, you are now free to start installing the mod.
4:Place the folder Content in the BattlefleetGothic2 folder. Allow it to overwrite all files requested. Done. Enjoy.
Burning a hole in your GPU? Maybe downsize to Larger Battles/Normal Skalgrim mod versions instead.

No this is just a mod that can be used on its own for the original game or to get even bigger battles in the Skalgrim mod.
Note: This works, but fleet names after the 7th fleet in a subfaction seem to be corrupted?
Not sure if this is fixable though.
Did you start out with a new campaign before using it? Did you use it for the vanilla game or the mod?
This was an old save, so that might be an issue.
Fleets are still usable though.

It can also be from the vanilla game as other people have reported name/text errors in campaign for atleast Necrons and Imperials that have arrisen after the latest patch. The mod should not cause that problem from what I can see in the files.
