The graphic fidelity of this mod is just breathtaking. I would've never imagined a game this old could look so georgeous. Excellent job!
I tried out the mod, and for the most part it does what it sets out to do, namely makes the ships, planets, and most everything else look much better.
Problem though is that installing the mod makes all the weapon, engine, and explosion effects look dim. Deactivating the mod made said effects brighter and more vibrant again.
If the issues with the special effects were fixed, I would heartily recommend this mod. Sadly, I can't recommend it in its current state.
