On an alternate reality Earth, the League of Nations launches a massive colonization vessel to establish a foothold on Mars, and beat the Red Menace to the Red Planet. Shortly after launch in 1958, massive U.S. and Soviet mining operations to extract Uranium from the Core of the Earth accidentally destroys the planet in a cataclysmic explosion, Damaging the Colony ship's guidance system and making it slingshot around Mars into the other side of the galaxy. Upon awakening 30 years later, the cryogenically preserved crew realize they've drifted far across the Milky Way itself, and discover a habitable planet. Upon landing, the scouting party finds the hull of an ancient starship crashed into a mountain, a transport to what was once a Prison colony located on the world thousands of years ago. Living inside the wreckage are the primitive Sarithians, Humanoids with animal-like features. An alliance is formed between the two, as the Humans set up their base camp around their own vessel and discover the technologies within the nearby ancient wreckage. 20 years pass and the Colony's first faster-than light vessel takes flight, traveling through the slip-stream for several hours, the crude ship eventually reaches a planet, and discovers an alien civilization. Or really, it discovers them, as a Battle Cruiser traps the vessel in a tractor beam and pulls it in to investigate. Originally concerned that the small ship was a nuclear weapon, the Entarren crew is shocked to discover the object is manned and immediately de-contaminates them of the heavy radiation their vessel is now leaking profusely.

Defend the Galactic Alliance from an ancient, extra-galactic threat as one of three Empires:

The United Systems: A colonization party that drifted astray from Earth after it was accidentally destroyed via mining operations to the planet's core gone wrong, landed on a mysterious planet and forged an alliance with the native Sarithians, Humanoids with animal-like features, and preserving its Sprawling Union of solar systems with traditional American values. U.S. Technology is an advanced blend of WWII-era Earth technology blended with powerful electronic upgrades.

The Union of Entarren Republics, a race of large humanoids genetically bred as supersoldiers in an ancient war, now managing their own System-spanning Empire with common sense, and brute force when needed. The Entarrens are respected and equally feared by most of the Alliance, but are very involved in keeping the Alliance whole and peaceful, Obliterating anything that dares to threaten it.
Entarren technology is generally robust and simplistic, streamlined and cumbersome, yet very resilient and powerful.

The Kingdom of Aeltopia, an Empire bound by bloodlines and honor under the Emperor and houses of parliament. Aeltopians are generally Elven in appearance, intelligent and noble warriors, though not absolutely trustworthy or practical. They are still an invaluable part of the Alliance, and work to uphold the unity of the three Empires. Aeltopian technology is best described as ornate and complex, yet reliable and precise.

Or fight agenst them as one of the following empires:

The Delvinye Star Empire is an extra-galactic Dictatorship built by toiling, genetically engineered slaves created from the worlds they conquer. The Delvinye race see themselves as God-like rulers and caretakers of all of creation, crushing any opposition swiftly and mercilessly, believing other races and life forms to be nothing more than "Impure" servants.

At one point thousands of years ago the Delvinye Star Empire held roughly a third of the Milky Way Galaxy, and was at war with the other two Empires holding
territory in the Milky Way as well. After near defeat by the Eldah'in Empire, they retreated to a distant Galaxy, Seemingly never to return again. Though in recent years, sightings of large unknown spacecraft are being reported from all across The Galactic Alliance. As the Delvinye prepares to re-take the Milky Way, the free forces of the Galaxy prepare for the war to end all wars...

The Phosforites a crystal like race with on one desire, to consume.

So far very little visual work has been done, just a few sketches and
concepts. Because neither myself or my friend are good with art. But
many of the ideas have been written down.

Team is needed! Right now it's just me, and I can't code, or 3D model, or anything, I'm just the guy with an idea. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are interested in helping PM myself or Skype me at sargequin

Page is currently a WIP.

Thanks for reading - Andrew.

that's a shame, it looked promising.

hopefully in the future you won't get people trying to change what you want it to be because of what they think it should be and who just don't wait and see what unfolds.

I like what I see so far, surprising how rarely I see original content floating around in mods for this game, so I'll definitely want to keep an eye on this

Hey did you every hear of science fiction? This is not meant to be true history but this is what you get from people who do not pick up a book once in awhile i mean if this guy wants the earth to be smashed by overminig great or trashed by aliens alright so do not call him out if his story fits his mod that just fine this is a modding board not the a book report that said Great mod keep up the good work and let the haters hate.

The storyline is somewhat amusing but really makes no sense at all. There is no uranium in the core of the earth, it is a giant chunk of iron. There is no way that a mining operation could blow up the planet. The technology to get to mars was not available in the 50s, and if it were, then WW2 would have been fought using it. This tech would have included nuclear weapons, and there would have been a devastating nuclear war as Berlin was being invaded by the Soviets, or as Japan was being defeated island after island in the pacific.

Sling shotting around mars wouldn't make the ship go very fast, and the speed would be very much bellow the speed of light. Assuming a velocity of 25% light speed (ridiculously generous number, wouldn't even be close to it.) drifting even half way across the galaxy would take 200,000 years.

haha really. . . . its just a mod, he could say he was powerfisting your mam in the story line, a still wouldnt giv a crap, and still play it. talking about the earth it isn't a chunk of iron, if you think the earth is just a chunk of iron then your a bigger moron then that speech made you out to be, plus i am really interested in knowing which mathamatical formula you used to work out the slingshot theroy and how just drifting in space would take 200,000 years to be halfway across the galaxy,

The CORE of the earth is just a chunk of iron and a little nickel. No uranium.

The Galaxy is 100,000 light years across, halfway across the galaxy would be 50,000 light years.. A light year is the distance it takes light to travel in one year. Assuming 25% the speed of light (which you could NEVER achieve through a simple gravity sling around a planet) the formula would be:

50,000LY/.25c=200,000 years. where LY=1 light year, and c=the speed of light.

Space is very large.

basic formula, but just to say there is no logical fact or theroy to say that one could travel across the galaxy in 100,000 years, there is also no fact or succsfull theroy to say that you could sling-shot around a planet for that matter mainly due to atmospheric pressures and more inportantly heat build up. and not every planet has an atmosphere. but your forgetting one important thing this is a sci-fy mod based on a sci-fy game. it's not based on facts or theroy's its based on an idea.

mankind has not been to the centre of the earth
mankind faked that they went to the moon
do you really belive what the goverment feeds you ?

There is a logical fact, it's called the Theory of Relativity or E=MC^2. An object cannot go faster than the speed of light through conventional means. "Sling shotting around a planet" is a conventional means. Traveling 50,000 light years in 30 years would mean traveling at 1,666 times the speed of light...impossible.

Mankind did not fake the moon landings. There is no proof that they did, and a cover-up that big would cost more time, money, and effort than really going there.

We also used to think going 60 MPH would kill us.. Look how fast we can go now. Who is to say that the speed of light is a limit?

I don't think anybody stated that this was on par with modern physics... (if so, please point out where, I must've become blind then).

As far as actual physics goes; its far from complete, and nobody found the graviton yet.

Guy, have you heard of science fiction that later became reality? Get outa here - in 1930 it was theorized that a computer could weigh just over 1.5 tons. So guy, chill le tits and go be an obnoxious realist some where else.

I up-voted you because you said "chill le tits" and I laughed.

I do not disagree with you. If he had said they used some type of warp drive to reach that speed I wouldn't be arguing, but he uses a gravity sling. A gravity sling is a force of nature, it would be like saying you got shot out of a volcano at the speed of light. We know that cannot happen, and it will never be able to happen. There is no way a gravity sling could accelerate a sub-luminal particle to 1,666c, or else it would be happening all the time and we would be using it to colonize space right now.

This actually leads to another problem. If they were traveling at 1,666c, nothing could have slowed them down, they would have never stopped, and would've left the Milky Way. Deceleration at speeds the crew could survive in would take BILLIONS of years. Furthermore, the gravity sling would have launched them off with a force of 50783967223g. For reference, 200g is lethal.

This is not technology Corelious, he said the ship used a gravity sling to accelerate to 1,666c. That is not possible. If it had already been moving that fast then it wouldn't come as a shock that they were half way across the galaxy, and they would have just come back. So they must have been traveling at less than 1,666c, a nothing-not even a gravity sling could accelerate you to more than just .99c, making this speed impossible.

I never said how fast the ship was going. This mod and universe was never intended to be realistic. Your math is irrelevant, your knowledge is irrelevant. Now would you kindly get the hell out of my page, and leave my followers, and myself alone.

You said he made it across the galaxy in 30 years. This means it was traveling at 1,666c. I sure HOPE it wasn't meant to be realistic, I can see that it wasn't intended to be after seeing your ship designs/story line.
