While the TEC, Advent and Vasari are embroiled in their own struggles for survival a new threat has emerged, intent on spreading it's infectious plague throughout the universe. The sickening ruthlessness in which entire populations are infected or destroyed is alarming to the TEC, Advent and Vasari alike. If the Plague wasn't enough they were immediately followed yet another race calling themselves the Nephilim. The initial encounter with the "Nephilim" held promise they would unite in defeating the Plague. However, Initial attempts at diplomacy have failed as the Nephilim seem single purposed in their pursuit of the Plague.

I see a few designs I recognized, one that looks like the BC304 from Stargate, the big ship in the top center looks like the Galaxy Destroyer from Star Wars, but no one should complain about it because it's a Fanon design. Other than those, none of the others look like anything I've seen before.

some of the frigates are apparently based off eve, though I've never played that game.

The fighters I created are similar in design to space battleship yamato.

I have to admit at first i didnt like the overall result of the texture but lately i found it very appropriate with the nanotech and all the armor plating branch of their researches. At last they seem more nanoengineered with this kind of "monotony".

I really hope to see all of them in Rebellion sooner or later, with all the "new" filters and shadows. I just miss the whole storm of tracers of autoguns with some of those ships fills the sky. Like the firs and the third capital.

I hear you on the textures. I wasn't really sure if I like the overall look or not when I initially did them. But, they've kinda grown on me. I actually have a different variation of this that's sorta more steam punkish.

I also had to make certain compromises and decisions when it came to textures as outside of the rogue faction ships by SolCommand I've textured everything myself. Basically, I had to make a decision at some point if I wanted to create a mod could I fill in the gaps that I couldn't get help from others to do with textures (especially consistent) being the most difficult to come by.

Right, of course you did have to. Even if this faction is graphically "non-canon", you (and the rest of the team) did a very intense job putting all these things together. Modular enabling, three new races, particle effects, models and textures, last but not least released and its working almost flawlessly.
Now you're even in the ME mod and the first textured models you did were damn good.

I just wish to play this on rebellion too, and thanks to this last "expansion" i managed to involve another few friends of mine (3/4) since it was hard as hell finding someone on ironclad with the same mod. This work deserve to be spreaded even more.

I love how you have the Oberth destroyer(I's next to the BC304) from Robotech\Macross in this mod of yours. I also love how you use many anime ships from say Captain Harlock, Battleship Yamato, and Cowboy Bepop. I pretty sure that there are some shows I can't recall that a few more ships are from besides the ones stated. The ship that's above the Oberth and the third in from the right are similar to two Amarr ships from Eve. The Abbadon and some other ship.... I think simply that he drew inspiration from things he liked is all and then made is own ships. Not to copy, not to cause problems but to show he liked them. So similar, yes but the same, no.

Beutiful fleet ... elements from all the great scifi worlds and then a few brilliant inovations of your own.

The three ships that are in the second line from the bottom, 4th, 5th from the left and 5th, 6th from the right, are from a babylon5 mod. Which was made for Star Trek Armada 2, I believe.

The models may be similar to another mod or possibly even in that mod and the model creator does not have stipulations on their usage. That said I've not seen anything from the author that indicates they were used in a STA2 or B5 mod.

Description

This is the fourth race I've created as part of Sins of the Fallen. It is also set in the Transhuman space with much of it's abilities and themes based on this genre. What's interesting about this race is that all the models were uv-mapped to a single texture sheet. I also owe a lot of this factions vibe to Malanthor and Sucal who help flesh out ideas for this faction. Similar to Rogue Traders, many of the models came from SolCommand (with a few by gundammodfan and myself) although in this case untextured. Several models are also based on or very similar to other scifi. Some may not like this fact, but for myself I find the looks overall to work well for the Hypercorps.
