Sikkmod is a general enhancement mod for id Software's 2004 FPS: Doom 3 and its expansion pack: Resurrection of Evil. Its main purposes are to update visuals of Doom 3 to a more modern level and to allow the user to customize various aspects of the game to suit their preferred styles all while maintaining the core mechanics and aesthetics originally put in by id Software. The mod also includes a number of fixes to and better organization of stock files in order to create a clean and more stable base for future mods
A very nice update to Doom 3. Pretty much fully customizable ingame and it just works. Simple to use compared to some other enhancement mods I've tried out.

Sikkmod is extremely well-made mod for DOOM 3, which will be appreciated by everyone with a fast-enough PC. It adds multiple new rendering technicians (Depth of Field, SSAO, Bloom etc.) as well as enhanced the old ones (smoothed dynamic shadows, better blood effects). It also adds a couple of changes to gameplay mechanics (like health regeneration). Finally, mod also provides great new UI, making it easy, to adjust the game to everyone's personal needs! If you're thinking about playing DOOM 3 - do it with Sikkmod!

Sikkmod is a beautiful mod, I like everything from the sound effects to the shaders to its special effects. There's not one thing I don't like about it! Sikkmod is where it all started when people where building great mods based off it. Kudos to sikkpin!

About gameplay part: I think this is it what original DooM 3 should have been. It would be awesome if this mod will be compatible somehow with coop mod.
