I can't play the game anymore after applying this mod. The loadingbar for the first level completes and then it crashes.

Some kind of renderer seems missing, any of you have this file?

did you Extract 'sikkmod' contents in 'q4base' folder ? because you were NOT supposed to.

'sikkmod' folder needs to be placed outside 'q4base' and under 'Quake 4' folders.
What you did was overwrite the main game files. i would suggest you to verify Game integrity and re-download game files.

the textures look like ****, even in ultra settings, also the screen is stretched, the ******* xhair is an oval. wtf?

SET these in 'Quake4config.cfg' & also SET/ADD them in 'autoexec.cfg':

NOTE :: I would highly suggest to make 'autoexec.cfg' and Add the above settings to that file, because :
1. Settings in 'autoexec.cfg' override those in 'Quake4Config.cfg'.
2. 'Quake4Config.cfg' is sometimes overwritten when you LAUNCH the Game.

It's a bug that happens in quake 4, it can be easily fixed by adjusting your quake4config file configuration. I don't remember exactly the parameters but you can easily find it online.

i fixed it, i'll post the fix later. but the hud is still stretched. it doesn't make sense how there could be 16:9 widescreen with 1080p but they didn't fix the stretched hud issue. nothing like an oval crosshair eh

The only solutions i could find, is that i replaced sikkmod 1.2 game000.pk4 with sikkmod 1.1 game000.pk4. The only problem i could find with this, is that in a certain level the floor dissapears, you can still walk on it, but you just can't see it. Other than that, the game runs normally
