The Sheriff's Special Forces Realism modification takes many factors of an already great game and makes it better for those who play serious coop, single player, or team-deathmatch. This mod is not about adding a bunch of uniforms or guns, but rather improving the existing items in the game to make your gameplay experience better. We believe in quality over quanity and we hope it shows. Weapon/Gameplay Changes All Weapons have proper firing modes as per manufactor specs. Guns with Burst mod start in Burst mode. All Weapons have correct lethality. (One shot head kills are much more common with higher caliber rounds) FMJ and JHP Rounds know penetrate items correctly based on round and caliber (Example, a FMJ .223 round will penetrate wood and metal doors, where a 9mm FMJ will only penetrate a wood door. Due to the game engine, some Real Life settings had to be changed in order to make it work. Fixes & updates: Limping caused by Aggresive Arrest, fixed! Tweaked the weapon/penetrate/armor even further. Made a game play friendly cut in number of 9 mm bullets needed to take down lvl IIA armor. this number is now around 6 rounds 9mm FMJ witch is the minimum offical requierments. One Head Shot are now deadly, minimum incapped, no matter what type of ammo you use. Using to powerfull rounds on a target, will cause the round to penetrate and possibly incap or kill hostages, civilian or a fellow officer standing behind the target. Hey, can someone send the the actual mod files to me? I absolutely hate mods that are in a .exe . I can't open or run .exe's so I would like to manually replace the files myself.
I don't have the expansion, so I can't use the latest version.
if they distribute it on this site then its safe. and dont have a virus. If you cant run an exe. then how are you running your computer? let alone ieexplorer.exe or firefox.exe or what ever your using. the people who worked hard on this mod either.

you could just use the files and change the mod author and a few things to make it diff and call it yours why would they let you do that? ^^ and i know i know i necromanced this thread its ok though. im starting to play swat 4 again and there is not enough people playing it. so modders need to get ready cuz i have tons of mod files needing to be modded and tons of things ready to make swat 4 better and bring new players, and i want to make a swat 5. i dont mean illegally either, im in the middle of purchasing the rights to swat 4 atm, wish me luck!

Not everyone use Windows - in those worlds, add ons/mods/whatever distributed as half-assed custom EXEs are a pain and generally don't work whereas manually copying the files into the correct location often does.
And, yes, good luck.. how'd that rights purchasing work out for ya?
Not every operating system uses executable files enstein.
