SHCPlayer is a modification bundle for Stronghold Crusader. It consists of independent modification modules called plugins. Those plugins are managed through the in-game manager. SHCPlayer works as a third party service and doesn't modify game files. This allows you to play original game along with installed mod.

1) Hub
Patches the game to version 1.x.2
- bugs fixes
- minor quality of life changes and features
- King of the Hill mode, like in Stronghold 1
- observer mode for multiplayer matches
- save last match settings between game sessions
- improved moat drawing and unit binds
- deselect tent only when unit group no longer contains engineers

2) Hotkey
This plugin adds configurable hotkeys to the game. Hotkeys are depends on the game context and may override each other. E.g. hire unit hotkey has more priority than any global action (like select granary) so you can assign same key for them. Hotkeys only work in skirmish matches.
Besides hotkeys this plugin adds multiplier for some actions such as Shift+Click to hire x10 units or to buy x5 market products.

3) Replay
This plugin records every skirmish game you play as a replay and save it to path_to_documets\Stronghold Crusader\Replays directory. You can play replays at "Custom Scenarios" > "Play Replay" menu. While in replay mode press Numpad+/Numpad- to change game speed up to 1000.

4) AdvancedMap
This plugin improves minimap and make it more convenient. It disables minimap scrolling and downscales the image so it fit entire area. Also you can adjust landscape color and unit size and disable civilians on minimap.

5) AIVEditor
At this moment this is just an AI castle viewer. In future versions it is supposed to become an editor and replace FireFly's AIV Editor.

Hi, I'm working on my own mod for AI castles. I really only want to use the hotkey editor for quality of life. Is there a way to use only that?

No. It is a standalone mod. It is not supposed to be compatible with other mods or be part of other mods.

Is there any way to only use the replay feature?
Id like to switch everything else off, so we can record games with people who arent using this mod.

No. Replay is just a plugin, it can't work independently.

I don't have a slightest idea how removing 95% of mod features may improve its usability. The mod is about everything else in the same way as about replays. All its features complement each other.

It improves usability as the mods primary barrier is finding or convincing others to use it, and having only the replay should theoretically not have that requirement, I can find random opponents and have it recorded. Meaning that I can actually use this mod. Currently I can't.
None of my expert friends want it because then they cant play with other experts.

This makes a good stepping stone to the est of the mod. I can tell my expert friends to get it for the replay so they can review their gameplay in serious games with other clans. And then I can ask them to switch on the other stuff once they are already using it.

As I already said, I can't separate plugin from the mod. Same way house can't be separated from its foundation. Replay plugin is just an extension for base mod. It is impossible to release replay as a separate mod without making changes in game code. Game has some bugs that lead to desynchronization between record and playback. To fix them I need to change game code which means both players should have those changes anyway.
Even if it would be possible, there is no point in releasing one single plugin. It would be just a waste of time. You can find random opponent who is still using vanilla version. And he will keep using it. Initial idea of the mod was to provide a fair way to play multiplayer, without game breaking bugs and with some QoL features. I don't see any sense in supporting something, that doesn't lead to involving new people.
As for expert players, oh... I made a research. Unfortunately too late but still. Its results showed that expert mp community isn't open for anything new. They are happy with their 1.1 version and doesn't need anything else. Even if replay mod existed, it would require 1.41 version. Which make it impossible to use it in game with experts anyway.
I don't know why your friends can't play with other players if they install this mod. They can just install 2 copies the game: one vanilla and one with mod. Switching between version in GR takes 10 seconds. I'll tell you more. Previous versions of the mod were distributed as separate application that you needed to launch simultaneously with the game. So you didn't even need 2 game copies. But the fact that players had to launch some third party soft was the reason why they complained and why I changed it. As you can see, it had no any effect :| All those barriers are imaginary and the real reason why mp community denies to play with mods is its conservatism. And that is the main reason why I stopped to work on mp features and decided that all further updates for this mod gonna be singleplayer.
