What began as a minor financial problem in the year of 2008, spiraled into a massive downturn of war and death. In 2015 the USA signs the AGA bill (American Goods Act) making it illeagal to ship jobs overseas to countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, and India. This act however poses a direct threat to the Chinese economy. The chinese government would not tolerate this act of war on the chinese economy and declares war a few months later. By 2016, the entire world is at war.
Here are all the variants of the European MERK helmet (FICTIONAL HELMET.)
As you can see there is a seam on the helmets, zooming in closer the player will be able to see sewn fabric on the helmet as the 2 halves of the fabric are sewn across the top of the helmet.
The MERK Helm acts much like any other kevlar helmet however it was created as to give Europe a universal helmet. It might look similar to the Mk.6 of the British army however dont be fooled by its similarites.

We've been working on it since he got back. We just thought we'd show something new to get the mod bumped up to the front page. that way people will know that we'll be moving the page to the Assault Squad mods page by the end of the month.
We'll be making good progress. but we'll be releasing media on a monthly basis in large batches instead of individual images once in a while.

Also the helmet was originally a MK.6 But as we updated it, it began to look less and less like one. So just as the CEC Faction has a new unique uniform not like any others in existence, we gave them a fictional helmet too. Just gave it a fictional name
Our game is set between 2015 and 2020, So we don't need to be afraid to add some of our own stuff instead of just using a bunch of equipment thats in use today.
The equipment for all factions will still largley be real world items though

Looks great! Glad to see you guys are up and running again. Also, I love the fictional conflict you guys created, it gives some margin for original technologies like this helmet. Any chance we'll seen any fictional weapons?

Bummer, well if you guys decide to, let me know. I am planing to go to school for mechanical design engineering, hoping to work with a weapons company designing new firing mechanisms. I've designed some pretty cool looking innovative concepts that would match the European bulpups currently being used
Instead of making fictional equipment we used a quite a few weapons and vehicles that are in their experimental stage today. the VHS Rifle for example
Is there something seriously wrong with my perception or are those 3 soldiers in the middle women?.
It's probably just the way the light is shining on the faces. or a slight scaling miscalculation.
I've noticed of the G36C in two guys, and I have a question:
There will be a generic main infantry rifle? Like the G36 or something?
No the G36 Is not a service Rifle for the CEC, He was just throwing random weapons on the soldiers
the Standard issue rifles for the Faction are the AUGA3 and VHS-D, A few soldiers will be using the SA-80 But it is an obsolete weapon in the faction.
There is also an AUGA3/M203 Variant for the grenadier classes
