Separate Essos faction. They'll be released with the Dothraki and maybe 1-2 other Essos armies after the "Beyond the Wall" update.

Will the Unsullid have cavalery and archer units?

No, but when used as they are in the show (core of Dany's army) they'll be supported by Dothraki cavalry and archers.

Why? I believe that in the books, even if it isn't written, there would be both archers and cavalry, plus maybe even swordsmen. I think you should add them, since it would help having a realistic faction, and I don't actually see why you shouldn't.

I cba explaining, here is a copy and paste form asoiaf Wikipedia.

'The Unsullied are inspired by the lockstep legions of the Old Empire of Ghis, who were free men.[4] The Unsullied fight in formation as light infantry, equipped with short spears, swords, round shields, and distinctive spiked caps. They fight fearlessly and obey without question. Their elite, highly specialized training makes them most effective in their phalanx formation. They do not ride horses.[3]

Unsullied uniform are plain and without ornament, quilted tunic, a short sword, three spears and spiked bronze caps. One spike indicates a low rank, while three spikes going from front to back represent an officer.[5]'

Basically if it's lore standards they would just be spear infantry, Sword infantry at the most but it's used as a secondary weapon.

They're not though. Why do people just assume lol. The free city of Braavos and Golden Company have more skilled soldiers on average in Essos. Many units in the Westerosi armies can match them.

The unsullied fluctuate in how powerful and skilled they are, Danny has a couple hundred that are veterans, many are half trained, they can be bought this way at a cheaper price. The only advanced Unsullied unit ever sold was the Three Thousand to Qohor, the only notable Unsullied force which are long gone. They could've defeated Danny's 10,000 with their eyes closed. Unsullied are typically sold as City guards to free cities, small in number, because usually their own armies are seen to be more reliable.

Where do you get this information from? If no armies could stand against the Dothraki then they would rule Essos and all it's free cities. Which they don't.

And should i remind you that the unsullied are expensive!? And recruiting and training unsullied is a long procesus (they start at the age of 5) and even if the unsullied beat the dothraki they still manage to loose 2400 unsullied they where initialy 3000

Dude, did you even read what I wrote? Seriously...

The Unsullied have various classes, the masters don't start training every single unsullied at the same time, they have multiple blocks which initiate a standard to sell constantly throughout the year. Yeah, they start Training at age 5, but there is separate classes which finish training at different intervals.

The Unsullied are expensive, the free cities are rich, they can afford the expense - this is called supply and demand, if the unsullied were too expensive for your average free city to persist the price of the unsullied would be lowered. If the Masters aren't selling they're not making money.

If you even read what I wrote half of my description is about the Qohor unsullied, you're just pasting back to me something I've known since I was a child. I've been reading asoiaf since I was 10 years old. The Qohor unit are the only example in Essos History to have been an elite force, all of whom are dead from old age. Qohor is the only city is Essos to rely completely on Unsullied now. Other cities have the funds to buy Unsullied troops, but they don't because they trust theirs more.

'In Recent History
Shortly after being created in 211 AC,[11] the Golden Company sacked Qohor, after the city refused to honor the contract it had made with the company. This event established the reputation of the sellword company.[12]' Proof that the Golden Company can defeat the current Unsullied soldiers of Qohor, they sacked the city.

Yeah, they lost 2400 unsullied because they were outnumbered six to one... It's bound to happen, during that battle the Dothraki Screamers decided to charge Head-on into their phalanx formation, as they felt it would scatter them. Doesn't work like that - just shows the inefficiency of the Dothraki during field battles. Losing a fight out numbering the enemy 17,000 to 3000 is a poor display, doesn't back up your case saying nobody else could stand against them. The strategy is poor, they are raiders not campaigners. Dothraki use only Cavalry, other Armies have units to counter this, Pikes and spears.

How did I 'Insult' you?

and you completly didnt understand what i wrote

unsullied are fare the best solider of essos maybe not gread sword fighter as the bravossi
or not as deadly as the dothraki screamer
BUT
there are unbreakable and fear no death
during the battle of qohor every army fail (and i was completly sure there were armed with spear and shield) there were scared of the dothraki while the unsullied fear no death

dothraki are well know for they savagery

look at the mongol there were only defeat beacaus there were weak in strengh and the mongol conquere half of the know world even if their enemy had "spear and shield" (the polish try to take on the defensive aigaist the mongol and misserably fail)
dothaki leader are not donkey (well most of them) so they know how to dis-formed enemy line (you don't have to be napoleon to know that spear can destroy enemy cavalry) the dothraki after savagely campaign for 1 century's where "used to" the spear

a soldier who fear no death no even fear to be wounded are far the best there not immortals making unsullied is long so this why some time master (like you say ) make some "quick" unsulllied to be city-garde but still unsullied are the spartans of essos they could only be defeat by millitary incompetence or...dragons

have u not heard how powerful the unsullied are, i'm not sure of the total numbers but a few thousand or hundred unsullied where able to defeat a full dothraki horde with only a few hundred walking away The Unsullied are pretty awesome. As stated over and over again by Jorah, Tywin and even the great Oberyn

Funny you should mention Tywins quote about the unsullied.

'Man to man, the Unsullied are no better or worse than any other spearmen. It's their discipline that makes them dangerous, but if they cannot form up into a spear wall ...'
- Tywin Lannister

Basically stating they're not as good as people presume them to be. Lannister knights would slaughter them the moment they break formation.

'Unsullied are brave soldiers ... but not warriors. Not knights.'
- Barristan Selmy

I love the fact these unsullied look like they have fought a battle or two. Also i like the diversity in the units. It is as it should be since the young boys were taken from every type of race at the slave markets. Great addition team!

I hope we don't just get Unsullied spearmen. A shortsword variant would be nice as well. Would also be interesting if they could never break, sounds OP i know, but from what we've seen the actual Unsullied that Daenerys has are essentially fanatics. Why would they run? they have nowhere to run to!
