SEF First Responders is coming along with the idea of a realistic and cinematic gameplay modification of Swat Elite Force.
SEF 7.0 by Eezstreet is the base mod in which my mod starts , the only possible way to play Swat 4 nowadays.
My idea is to expand the concept and explore boundaries of the visual assets and tactical gameplay.
New 3d models for weapons , equipment and environment combined with realistic sounds , weapon handling , slower pace gameplay and AI tweaks to make Swat 4 feel more "heavy" and "dangerous" than any other Swat 4 experience you had before.

Hello! 0.67 is finally released in Stable version and I hope you you'll enjoy it.

0.67 AND WHY SO MANY BETAS
From 0.66 I've achieved many new features we all wanted:
- Shield
- Medical System
- Quick Reload
- Restrained can be pushed on floor
- SP custom skin support
- Many other little things aren't listed here but I hope you will notice while playing or reading the Changelog.
One thing I really thought it was necessary was an AI overhaul. AI in Swat4 sucks and is good at the same time. It's a really big and awkward monkey that keeps on flippin.
AI in all his aspect has been reviewed , fixed , tested to a point that it might not be smart but at least can do basic things right. Believe me , it's a great achievement.
Many of you will surely found flows in suspects and swat AI behaviors , I do too , but the most important thing was to make a base for further developments.AI adjusting , needed many tests in the wild, and so that's why I released many Betas.
WHAT'S AFTER 0.67?
My life will change in few months. I'll became father this summer so time for me will be a luxury.Following this , after Stable release , I'll restrict even more this very Discord to be just little more than "Need help/bug report" thing until further notice.I really hope you'll understand and catch the opportunity to create a non-mod related Discord that will greatly help the community grow and better organize.
For 0.68 I really want to explore few more things like Battering Rams and Night Vision devices ( IR lasers and VIP lights ) but I don't know what future will bring so don't expect much.
In any case, after those two things, my time on Swat 4 development will come to an end. I have other projects in mind probably around UE and possibly in the VR area or maybe just touching grass... who knows....

WEAPONS:
- Remingtom M870 Tactical
- M16A2 with Surefire M500 weaponlight
GEAR:
- PASGT + Goggles and chinstraps to many helmets ( thx to TargetAquired )
- reworked Kevlar Armor(No Sleeves) now support full skins and nametags ( thx to TargetAquired )
GAMEPLAY:
- The Shield: combined pistols (or taser) with a Level3A rated tactical shield.
Can be equipped by AI officers and they can move in formation with it ( MOVE-TO command for example ).
- Medical System: bandages that can heal the limping player or AI Officer.

- Medic Kit with 5 bendages
Press K (default key) to equip and Left Mouse buttun to use while near a wounded officer.</code><code>
- Quick Reload: pressing Hold Command (CTRL default) + Reload permits you to quick change magazine at the cost of losing it.
- Breached Door Falling: Doors can now detach from the frame after a C2 explosion (for the maximum cinematic effect)
- Blasted Doors with shotgun have now chance to be opened immediatly after the shot
- Restrained On Floor:
- after reporting you can put anyone to floor by simply interacting again with the restrained.
- First Responders Campaign mode :
- no unlocks
- only FR weapons
- no optiwand :P
- Damage values reworked for penetrating ammos.
- Medical System:
- healing gives 100% health
- added "HEAL ME" AI command
- new HEAL voice command lines ( i.e. "Gold , heal me" will result in AI heal you )
- "CHECK CORNER" command
- AI can move to corners and check whats behind that
- command trigger on mirror points
- WeaponBob activated
- player's camera is moving during walk to give a more dynamic feeling
- restored Optiwand "under-door" capability
- revised player speed
- Fallen door chance after a blast or a breach is depending on door material
GUI:
- Added selectable Custom Skins for Single Player mode.
AI:
- fixed istances of AI shooting from impossible rotations
- minimum time to shoot is now respected
- fixed many deadlocks in suspect AI actions that were making them idle for no reason
- Hostages can possibly comply by just seeing the officers.
- Minimum Time to Shoot reduced for Low/Medium Skill Suspects
- reworked Hearing Sensor for Suspects/Officers
- reworked Flee/Flush/Regroup/Escape actions to avoid bad behaviors on "attack while moving".
- reworked InvestigateAction to not make suspect standing without tasks.
SOUNDS:
- various replaced sounds effects ( thx to Crusoe )
FIXED:
- Suspect Threat detection is now activated just before they start to aim to avoid delays (particularly in MP) and bad ROE detection
- fixed some wierd animation behaviors when "Restrained On Floor".
- Weapon image not loading on Loadout GUI on some campaign conditions
- improved animation manager

first of all, pretty good overhaul, the new features are amazing especially the high-low ready thing. I was wondering if there is a way to port the high&low; ready feature to SEF C, because that mod have a lot of cool stuff and i won't the have the best of the mods's features together.

I was wondering where do I go to change the enemy's AI ability to remove wedges?
Currently I feel the wedges are quite useless and I would like to change that.

I think you could add a feature from another mod (I don't remember which one):
Disable the "Bring Order to Caos: Objective Complete" from UI.
I mean, you still have to arrest/neutralize the suspects but you'll never know until all objectives are done.
Can you tell me how to make optiwand quieter? It is immediately heard by opponents (if used by the player)
I would also like to return back the inability to unlock the doors by enemies. This makes them almost useless.
I play a career and all weapons do not open, neither the old from the SEF nor the new from the FIRST Resp MOD. Can someone explain what needs to be done so that all weapons appear in the career?
If you want all weapons to appear you need to play in the all mission and not career mode.
