Having played Snowdrop Escape, we believe you clearly noticed that the modification was very different from Half-Life 2: puzzles at the heart of the gameplay, a different weapon balance, a different main side of the conflict, as well as the plot presented by notes and scenes from the third person. However, all this was more of a one-off experiment than a new series of mods.
Yes, our next mod will not be Snowdrop Escape 2 at all, but we still suggest that you pay attention to it. In terms of gameplay and dynamics, the new project will be close to the classic and familiar Half-Life 2.

Swelter is a Half-Life 2 mod, whose story takes place several years before the events of the original game, and tells about the internal contradictions within the Resistance forces that arose during the rebellion against the Combine in the post-Soviet city of Central Asia, surrounded by a hot steppe.

In order not to create a false impression, we want to tell you what you can expect from a new project:
- The main character represents the forces of the Resistance;
- The balance of damage is familiar, there is no limit on the amount of arsenal carried, aiming is present (but only as a completely optional tool);
- Puzzles will not disappear, but they will be rare and not annoying;
- The locations are spacious and will not constrain you;
- The plot is a little more complicated than "the Rebels are good, the Combine is bad";
- A completely new region.

Поиграв в Snowdrop Escape, полагаем, вы отчётливо заметили, что модификация очень сильно отличалась от Half-Life 2: головоломки в основе игрового процесса, иной оружейный баланс, иная главная сторона конфликта, а также сюжет, представленный записками и сценами от третьего лица. Однако, всё это было скорее разовым экспериментом, чем новой серией модов.
Да, следующим нашим модом будет вовсе не Snowdrop Escape 2, но мы всё равно предлагаем вам обратить на него внимание. В плане игрового процесса и динамики новый проект будет приближён к классическому и привычному Half-Life 2.

Зной (Swelter) - мод на Half-Life 2, чья история, происходящая за несколько лет до событий оригинальной игры, рассказывает о внутренних противоречиях внутри сил сопротивления, возникших во время мятежа против Комбайн в пост-советском городе Средней Азии, окруженном жаркой степью.

Чтобы не создавать ложного впечатления, мы хотим рассказать, что вам стоит ожидать от нового проекта:
- Главный герой представляет силы Сопротивления;
- Баланс урона привычный, ограничения на количество переносимого арсенала отсутствует, прицеливание присутствует (но только как совершенно необязательное средство);
- Головоломки не пропадут, но они будут редкими и не напрягающими;
- Локации просторные и не будут вас стеснять;
- Сюжет чуть сложнее, чем "повстанцы - хорошие, Комбайн - плохие";
- Абсолютно новый регион.
