SCP - Containment Breach: Terror Hunt - Version 4.0.
(Note: If the game MAV's, apply the 4gb patch.)
Wow, alright. This took way longer than I expected. But, hey! It's here!
I would just like to say thank you to two very special groups involved in this whole journey. Firstly, I'd like to thank the people who helped make this version a reality. Kitrod, C45, DL_Baryonyx and many others you can find listed in the credits. (While on the topic of credits, if I used any asset from a mod/creation of yours, and I failed to credit you, please DM me! I'd be more than willing to discuss how to approach the situation.) These people assisted and inspired me to make this version far greater than what I was accomplishing on my own. As lame as it sounds, I can't find the proper words to explain my gratitude properly. But what I can say is that these people will all hold a special place in my heart for a long time. My second thank you would have to go towards... Well, all of you. Thank you so much to all of the people who have played and supported this project for the past few months that its been public. I definitely made a large majority of giant mistakes leading up to this version (especially the NSFW content, I'm really sorry about that.), but I'm praying that everything has been fixed and improved upon to all of your likings. I'm sure there are a few bugs and problems that went unnoticed following this release, but we'll be sure to pump out a 4.1 to fix these things!
Now, with this whole chore of a mod finally being releasable, I'm sure there's a question inside of several minds. Will there be a 5.0? And to answer that simply, probably not. Working on 4.0 definitely took a lot out of me, and working as a team wasn't really... My thing. A lot of issues arose, both on a social and personal level, and I feel as if putting efforts towards a 5.0 wouldn't really be worth it. Now, that isn't a definite final answer. It's entirely possible that a 5.0 could be made at some point. But for now, I have a few other projects of my own that I should really get to work on, so those things will be my top priority.
If any of you find any bugs or problems, please leave a comment so we can get to work on the little things. But a bug to NOT comment about is lag. We know of this problem. The game starts to lag randomly once you play for a certain period of time. But, a fix that seems to work 100% of the time is, if you quit to the menu, and load up your save from there, it seems to run fine for a solid span of time.
We are looking into the lag problem, and we may have to port the mod to an improved Blitz3d. But until then, I hope everything else goes smoothly! I'm almost 90% sure there's something I meant to change or remove before release, but only time will confirm. Happy playing guys! Goodbye for now! And make sure to join our Discord for any more questions you may have!
