Now I'll give you, the players, the chance to voice your opinion on what YOU think is the most important next step for Sanctum. We have a thought out plan for the near future of Sanctum but are always listening to what you as a player-base would want from Sanctum and what you think could lift the game to the next level!

Choose your most fitting category and make yourself heard by posting a comment clarifying why you chose what chose!

I always admired these amazing maps in the UT3 mods. The map found in this mod is no exception. I spent a huge amount of time just wandering around on that map, checking out every single piece of detail.

For that reason, I'm voting "More levels! I want to do this in different environments! (Vallyes, Caves etc.) ", with my specific wish being a lava map, where there is burning lava underneath the bridge, during battles you see the fire burning, the lava flowing -- would be epic. Later on, you could add a story-driven campaign, where it would be possible to have AI allies, who help you out, shoot at enemies, construct maybe 1-2 towers per level...

I see a great potential in this mod, and if anyone can make it, it's you guys.

I voted for: Supportive and in-direct measures.
Mines, stuns and all that other crazy things you can come up with would be excellent. Barriers would be nice too, you know, where the enemies will have to crush it before they can move on. Of course, only a limited amount of these should be possible to place upon the battlefield.

Other than that, I'd like to say you people got a brilliant idea, and an even more brilliant MOD. It really is easier to get a modification done when you can talk face-to-face with your team, eh? Seems like it is.

Anyway, keep up the work, its great. Oh, and as a last comment; That Minigun-shotgun sure sounds tasty !

Ooh, great response both of you :)

Sure is nice with some fresh ideas, I'm so used to hearing the same ideas over and over by now. Hehe. I'll make sure to keep your responses in mind and we'll have to see how future responses turn out.

I sure hope you both are enjoying Sanctum in its current form, and yes, hopefully we'll keep working on and improving Sanctum for quite a while.

More of all of the above! Also, getting rid of that scene at the start where the camera floats around to your character would be great! Or at least making it skippable would be great because it is good to show off the map!

Oh yes, NoIntroMovie. I agree with you totally, that fly-over will be removed and we actually had it skippable until the deadline. The only drawback was that the game crashed when trying to get back to the menu for some reason ;) We sadly had to remove the scripts for skipping the fly-over and that's the reason it is as it is.

So yes, we know this is a real issue and will have sorted it out for our next release. We'll either make it into a .bik-movie that is skippable by default or we'll simply remove it entirely, which of course is not as "cinematic" but in return gives the much smoother gameplay you're asking for.

Well, I'd say that you shouldn't remove it. Having the opportunity to skip it would be a way better idea, that's my opinion at least. :)

Well, I partially agree with you as well Kosai106 and we're working on finding the best solution for that. Of course it has to be skippable if it's going to stay but we've had real problems getting it skippable without messing some other stuff up and right now it's between either making a .bik-movie that is skippable by default or just removing it entirely to allow smoother gameplay, which of course always is of highest priority in a game. Specially in a gameplay driven game like Sanctum.

We highly appreciate your feedback. Keep it coming :)
