SAC:Source is a Half-Life 2 Modification aimed to do what many have only dreamt of.
Anyone who has completed a higher education or is in the process of doing so, and has been a keen player of FPS (First Person Shooter) games has dreamt of playing through their own school against several online enemies through all their common everyday classrooms. Imagine fighting through the teachers staff room and blowing rooms to pieces. No rules just destruction.
This modification will endeavour to recreate all the college premises of St. Aloysius College - Milsons Point, Australia. As the modification progresses it will most likely take aboard other nearby schools and potential additions from all across the world.
Run through massive multiplayer environments with several forms of weapon sets weapons including: Scissors, Pens and Pencils, Makeshift Schools-Style Weaponry, and the beloved Geography Ruler. Or if you prefer real weaponry just whack on the military weapon set giving the players some of the most savage and versatile weapons in existance. Some of which will include the newly developed US Military XM8, the standard Australian military issued Steyr Aug, and several others.

The new site for SAC : Source has been launched, though it is at present still being filled out...
What is up there now though is the general design and some of the information regarding the mod. I am at present porting all the old bits and pieces from the old site to the new one ;) can't wait till its all done.
Small parts of the mod will be completed over the next few weeks as important exams are palguing most of the team members. But do not fret, the mod will still go on!!!
We are glad to see such enthusiasm on the part of the moddb community for contributing their respective schools maps to the mod, that would be awesome. Though we ask not to contribute anything that can be offensive as the idea of weapons in school grounds is a touchy subject. During the coding of this project we may decide to convert the gameplay into a paintball skirmish type game, to help not offend anyone. This all is yet to be decided, expect to see many new updates on the website in the near future :D

i dont think u should make paintball guns, itd be kinda odd. I say screw what people say about it, i agree columbine was deffinitly bad, but we cant let that hold us back from doing many things
We are not colombine fanatics actually, thoguh we see where ur coming from ;) thanks for the heads up. The team is presently in discussion about changing the weapons to paintball counterparts as to not offend potential audiences. Thankyou for the warning Fallen :D
