With a subversion like 8.2, the changes aren't as sweeping as when big patches like v8 were released. That means we do not want to needlessly make everyone need to download a huge patch again. Therefore, you will download v8.2.0 on top of v8.0.0 Full version - Download here
This new version of 2.02 focuses mainly on addressing the "armour stacking issue" that has plagued the game since its inception. In fact, this issue can be traced all the way back to the first version of BFME 1!
What is the "armour stacking issue", you must be wondering? In short, it is when armour bonuses compound unnaturally and result in a much higher bonus than is intended. This would make armour capping at +300% very easy to achieve with just two or three armour bonuses (E.g. Rallying Call + Porcupine Formation).
* Armour capping (set at +300% armour) is when a unit can no longer benefit from any further armour bonuses to prevent invulnerability.
