In 1992 the elected Government of Sikkim collapsed after officials were removed from power and executed by the countries armed forces lead by General Sadan’Kaz. The General stated that the once elected Government was a poison sweeping across the country and spent it’s time in the layers of western world leaders. Sikkim had launched into a civil war by 1993 as Sadan’Kaz established the Republic of Sikkim; this war was known worldwide as the Desert War and concluded in 2002 after Sadan’Kaz forces controlled the countries key structures.
