Because I love porting stuff to new engines :P
I'll probably keep developing for Call to Arms right now and see how things go. The main reason for me to port this currently was the high quality models the new game has for landscapes etc.
So, this decision is not final.

when this comes out for Call to Arms there is finally a good reason to buy this game :D
Not as much stuff as in Galaxy At War :D
There will be more stuff.
Beside This mod is 1000 times more polished them GAW.
All the Damage system in GAW is messed up.
Things take time to be polished.
