The mod features hundreds of historic characters with their own unique biographies and titles, dozens of period accurate armaments, unique mechanics to either usurp the throne and establish your own dynasty or support the restoration of the Han, historic mission trees for the five main factions from the era, and the inclusion of various non-Han peoples such as the Nanman, Xianbei, Nanyue, and Goguryeo.

Patches 3.0.016 and 3.0.030 have been released and are now ready for download

Posted by on

Patch 3.0.016 combines the previous patches, as well as makes a significant alteration to the first mission of the Liu Clan: this alteration is that Xu Shu joins and besieges Xinye. The change was made to 1) make acquiring Xinye easier and, 2) make it so that your faction wasn't going to immediately be at war with at least one, if not two, factions, while relocating to Xinye.

Patch 3.0.030 makes some changes to a few missions, with one specific being the ability to acquire Guan Yu as the Cao Clan after completing the mission to defeat the Liu Clan, as well as many other updates and fixes.

Please check the changelog for changes, and download the update(s), by heading over to the Patches and Hotfixes post on our main forum.

any chance you will make this for something more modern like rome 2? the med 2 is just a murder on the eyes and just in general a turn off, the game is great, though i find the 20 armies u start with in the major factions rather irritating at best.

also do the other factions meaning the non major ones have special based missions or not?

if you like Med 2 TW u will enjoy this, if not sorta like me its a turn off due to the graphics and just the general game itself and how things are done.

(tbh maybe it is just the lack of things being explained such as how to do the more advanced things. I never really cared for med 2 as it seemed way to well under developed imo compared to like rome 2 but im sure thats just a time difference when they were made.)

I cant stick with the game for more than a few turns honestly. Id much prefer to see this glorious game in a more modern tw.

overall a job well done and a enjoyable game if you enjoy the med2 style tw.
