Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Report RSS Project temporarily on halt

Hey all, I'm writing this short update no ROTR after the mutiple questions we have received through our forums, moddb and other media. ROTR is not dead or anythign altho all our resources are currently focused on ShockWave. So once ShockWave is completed you can expect futher development on ROTR again. Just keeping you all informed of what's going on :)

Gr8.
I have a question regarding that though. After you release ShockWave, will you be fixing any reported bugs/glitches/... or will you let it be as is?

Excellent work on both mods btw :)

Tnx for answering. I'm not concerned about any new units or stuff like that, just glad to know any possible bugs will be dealt with :)

I'd rather have ROTR sooner than Shockwave. The latter is a great mod, but still I like ROTR better.

It's about time they finished SW isn't it, so I think it's great they wait with ROTR :-)

I apologize for yelling that this mod (ROTR) is dead earlier in forums. Looking forward to seeing 2.0 soon! Good luck! Btw, why you guys do not participate in next release of Generals? 'Coz I think that many people including me think that ROTR mod is actually much better than original Generals. I mean it overperformed and exceeded expectations of many Generals fans!
