Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
This supersonic bomber made itself a name in the European Invasion. In the battle of Berlin when it seemed the conflict would end in a stalemate, over one hundred of Backfires filled the skies and hit defending European installations. Before the Europe remnants could realize what was going on, they were swarmed by Russian ground forces and were finished swiftly.
The Backfire is known for going near enemy territory and firing their cruise missiles beyond a range enemy anti-air can fire back. The bomber is famous for flying in wings of three. Once the target is within range they safely fire their payload in synchronization. The European Continental Army has recently designed a counter to the Backfire; however the Russian Air Force has been very cunning avoiding it.

It's a normal General's Powers plane, just shoot at it with copious amounts of Anti-Air.

hey you should make a special airfield were they have huge hangrs so you can make cargo planes or b-52 and than that would be awsome!

The ECA does not include America, and Europe has no real equivalent to the Backfire. The B-1B is a rough analogue, though the Tu-22M3 has much more emphasis on the maritime strike role than its American counterpart.
Yeah, my late buddy, and IIRC, all of Europe's strategic bombers (Mirage IV, Vulcan, Victor) used during the Cold War are all out of action today...
that's completely right. and as CommanderJRB already said: the tupolev is much more a missile carrier while the lancer puts much more emphasis on bombing.
i know you don't like suggestions but how about the backfire fires nuclear cruise missiles for tactical ballistics general^_^

Attacked someone's navy with cruise missile strike. It was like the Sum of All Fears, except the Russians are actually evil in ROTR. And the was no Ben Affleck or Morgan Freeman.
