Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
First off, the Recycler itself can be upgraded with a makeshift Tesla contraption which unlike normal Tesla weaponry will arc over to several enemies after firing.
Someone gave it a bit too much juice?
Original Tesla Tank from RA1 or the original Tesla Tank from ROTR anyone?
Is the same thing you know?
Old RotR Tesla Tank = RA1 Tesla tank.
Also, a GLA Tesla Tank, what a... shock..
Had to be said.
Our disco ball NO!
With this, the GLA will take the world by storm.
(buried)
I think not bro. Even through I love GLA I would not like them to take the world. But same goes for 'murica, Eca, China or Russia
(buried)
someone is angry that I mentioned not liking 'murica leading the world ??
No, I'm assuming it was due to your reaction to what was almost certainly a joke. This one, however, is on me.
(buried)
my problem with it is that you miss-spelled it lol.
you could have said US or America but instead you chose to use the more insulting version of the name lol.
Someone stupid for bringing it up everywhere?
Puns are kinda my thing. They're all I got.
That Disco ball though... XD
I knew for a while there would be a Tesla option for the Recycler, so this didn't come as much of a shock.
how come the stolen tesla weapon is better then the original...
Oh well maybe becouse Russians does think about safety for crew and their surrounding troops.
While this issue isn't much a bother in GLA ranks. So they can use its full potentional
Also worth noting, in addition to Gypsy: Seems bigger, especially since the new version is based on the RA2 vehicle, which has an even smaller coil, and most likely has some part in its service manual about how you're NOT supposed to overload the equipment.
oh how come the GLA ver has the old coil if it's not even in use by russia? where do they get it from?
I don't think it IS a Russian coil. The emitter looks, at best, like it was made by the GLA themselves, using knowledge they picked up by examining debris and disabled vehicles, rather than tearing one off a wreck. Either by pulling materials off husks, or scrapyards.
Feels at least slightly bigger than the one on the TT-1 for me, though. Could be just me not having a sense of scale, though.
Also, I screwed up a bit; Like the Frogfoot, the original tank still 'exists', it's just not going to be in the game because it reacts extremely poorly to incoming fire.
Isn't Tier 1 too low for that? I mean, the Tesla tank i higher tier unit, unless you are gonna make it a lower tier unit.
That truck better be insulated, or else...
