Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Description
Recyclers can be upgraded with a more sizeable carrying space on their backs to hold a large amount of surplus scrap and spare parts.
In gameplay terms, this allows the Recycler to produce regular salvage crates for a small amount of money.
Excellent! more salvage crates = more bad-*** vehicles!

I love this! Finally, a Recycler upgrade variant which is not a type of artillery xP Not to say I don't like the other variants, because I do (And I think they'll provide better GLA gameplay) but its nice to see an upgrade that forms a strategic-scale support unit
Of course! Captured/Recovered GLA equipment is easier to hammer back into a workable state!

Well the only thing that sucks is that you need a GLA foe to get it. So if you fight ECA, China, USA and Russia you cant have it so = no free salvage crates for you :)
You're starting to sound very much like "Must have EVERYTHING all at once!"
Well I think that the "Dump Truck" is the most crucial UPGRADE that they could give to the GLA. Thanks to that you could go against your opponents with already salvaged vehicle boost so they can give some punch compered to other factions.
If they could do it more like a General Promotion then it would be better. That it will be awaileble at the Recycler from that point.
( Even better if that General Promotion give tier 1 salvage of the GLA for Recycler )
But in that case, you'd just have a minor skirmish, and then spend about half an hour doing the C&C3; Avatar trick on all of your units, before attacking with half of the GLA veterancy turned semi-meaningless.
And, it might be potentially too good, in some circumstances.
