Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

So this will later replace Tank Command's Paladin tank or is going to be an additional asset in the arsenal?

love the attention payed to detail, you are more capable of making generals 2 instead of bioware and ea.

I'll take Rise of the Reds and a half dozen other mods over Generals 2 ANY day, modding communities always pay more attention to detail out of love for the end product and feeling pride in putting their names behind a polished product.

This and the Humm Vee play into my armor strategies.

IRL Humm Vees and Bradleys are used as recon assets, forward feelers for the armor they accompany. I equip the Humm Vees with TOWs to give them a good punch against enemy recon elements and armor and to give the Bradleys that much of a chance against heavier armor, long enough for the Paladins to arrive and provide their own firepower.

Description

The Bradley after it has been upgraded with Composite Armor. The M2A4 is armed to the teeth with its rapid-fire autocannon, manually targeted TOW missiles and a point-defence laser.

The Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, one of the Army's mainstray combat vehicles since the 1980s made a return as the M2A4: While the basic frame of the vehicle remained largely unchanged, the new version was equipped with an improved 25mm chaingun, advanced TOW missile launchers, modular composite armour and, most notably, the same point-defence anti-missile laser that was successfully introduced and field-tested by the Paladin Tank, making the "new" Bradley an ideal supplement in combined arms mechanised warfare thanks to its mobility, firepower, protection and infantry transport capabilities.

Bradley IFVs will later become an exclusive feature of Tank Command General Bradley, but we will give you an early opportunity to deploy them as part of the regular American tech tree in the upcoming version 1.7!
