Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

I somehow feel the antenna might be misleading. As in, it does kinda give the impression it can provide radar, like the Chinese command center.

Maybe the antenna could be dishless, so it's not so misleading. Or maybe it could provide local stealth detection, like a stationary observation van?

Eh. Looks like a comms antenna through and through. At best, they're probably stealing HBO, so...minor combat efficiency boost because they're all disgusted, appalled, and strangely appealed by what they just saw?

I'm trying to improve their combat abilities, not make them marathon Game of Thrones for the entire damn battle!

I think the antenna and the camo are misleading as to the building's capabilities.

seems odd to have a small camo net right above the exit as if trying to hide from satellites but then have a symbol of your faction right beside that out and the open for all the worlds sats to gaze on

I agree that the antenna should probable be dishless so as not to give the impression of providing radar. Other than that, love the changes!

Oh my lord... You all should already know the GLA doesn't get their radar from their Hideout! WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING? This looks awesome.

Because silhouette is very important, and needs to conform to player expectation.

Nyeeeeh...as a great worm once said, before having half his brain-matter smeared over a baseball bat and having the rest fly into a relatively large body of water:

Booooriiiiing!

Description

The humble Hideout also looks more interesting now after we added some communications equipment and a camouflage net above the entrace. Keep in mind that these changes are strictly visual, as the GLA's access to the minimap and General Powers is still their Mobile Command Truck
