Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Starting with ROTR release 1.9 and onward the more support oriented powers available to all factions at rank 5 will in addition to what they do currently also unlock an Epic unit for each faction as seen on this image:
im so happy to see new development of rotr content. no pressure guys, develop slow and at your own pace. a good mod definitely deserves the waiting!
Waiting for GLA Epic!
I'm guessing the GLA epic unit is a moving fortress made of junk.
my guess on the possible GLA epic? a GLA verison of the MAD tank. fits their theme of cobbled together weapons and general lack of tough vehicles. explodes with superweapon level of power but the challenge is getting it to the enemy base without it getting destroyed (possibly cannot enter tunnels for balance reasons)
my guess no 2 is a pure support based epic unit that lacks real damaging weapons but can do mass debuffs against the enemy while helping your own.
GLA epic won't be a suicide unit.
now things are getting interesting, knowing GLA its gonna be fun and funny
You could add a MAD Tank anyway, just for the Funny of it.

Just noticed that the image of Breakthrough Strategy unlock changed, too ! From the Overlord to the Shenlong.
I usually use Overlord over Shenlong because it is more versatile, though :P
It's because the Overlord is no longer GP locked
The new GP is "Scorched Earth". It unlocks Shenlong and Black Napalm
