Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The Goshawk is probably the most versatile gunship in the war. Not only it is capable of rearming itself in flight like others but has the speed and agility of a fighter while being capable of vertical flight. Their pilots are fearless and methodical, accomplishing strikes with ruthless efficiency. It is but one of the few aircraft the ECA have left. Their locations are hidden in secrecy and due to their VTOL ability they can nearly take off from anywhere.

The bombs look a bit too big for the plane to be able to rearm. Mayba they should be a bit smaller. Otherwise excellent.
The bombs are not... regular ammunition. They would have to be rearmed from an internal reservoir, though I agree that they're probably too large (and the fuselage too small) for that to be even remotely plausible. Ah well. It's a game, and once you see them in action I hope you won't mind!

No, the Goshawk is a dedicated air-to-ground platform only.
I would be more realistic if all the choppers can have AA capabilities.

This fighter reminds me of wing commander with mix with Rayin Project but great design i feel like i can take this baby into space and shoot astroids and other forms of hostile inteligent life to bad its a bomber oh well death to the tanks :D

Home field advantage though, even if the Jerries were aimimg for our home fields, air-fields that is.
Most airbases throughout Europe were destroyed in massed cruise missile air raids by Russian Tu-22M4 ('Backfire') and Tu-160 ('Blackjack') strategic bombers at the opening of the conflict, meaning that nearly all conventional ECA fighter aircraft were destroyed at their bases. Because of the far more flexible nature of VTOL aircraft and helicopters when it comes to forward basing, these were dispersed to field operation posts at the time the air raids took place and were thus mostly protected from the raids, leaving them as the stanchion of the ECA's frontal air power.
Thaks for the info, can't wait to trash some kodiaks with this. What's the firepower like? I see guns and bombs but knowing ZH they could turn out to be useless anti-armour or awesomely powerful...
I'd say you likely won't find a more powerful anti-tank aircraft in the mod.

ECA aren't likely coming for a little while yet, but when they do, they'll arrive in tandem with the GLA, and you'll have a LOT more to play with!

It's armed with the cannon you see there, bombs. It also has a special bombs that disables vehicles by dispensing a special chemical vapors that solidify in combustion engines.

Now that you mentioned VTOL, does this thing still need an airbase or something or it just hovers around like a helicopter but flies like a fighter?
It uses a method of locomotion that is similar to that of a helicopter, but much faster.

Likely not, GLA officially never had controlable airpower (except Death Strike in ShW, who is not official), so my guess is no. The tier3 AA of GLA is an advanced base defense.

Well, glad to hear that! Btw, since China has recently unveiled its 5th generation stealth fighter, why don't you add this to game? And eliminate Chinese MiGs and may be give EU their Eurofighter Typhoons? Let the Europeans save/have few expensive Eurofighters at their disposal. What do you all think about this idea? Isn't it great? Because as I remember an idea of EU having Eurofighters was eliminated from early stage of thegame because of their triangle shape was identical to Chinese MiG 1.44.
