THIS IS A MOD OF RISE OF THE REDS! Rise of the Reds is a great mod made by our friends at SWR Productions. This mod is an Overhaul-style mode of ROTR - a reimagining of the formula in a more balanced and fun way for online play. It adds many new units and abilities and many balance changes. The aim of the mod is to change the way you perceive the gameplay of Rise of the Reds 1.87 to something that is more similar to Zero Hour and other classic C&C games.
In the early days of the war, the Russians had a massive grip on the Eastern side of Europe. After American intervention and a bloody war, the Europeans and Russians were left at a stalemate - much to the dismay of the Russians who were expecting a swift victory. Then, it came time to strike back. Where the slow, defensive army was not suitable, there was the Minotaur.
The choice between this and the Jagdmammut Tank Destroyer is entirely up to preference. The Minotaur - Wolfgang's advanced heavy tank is armed with cryogenic missiles that freeze enemy tanks and structures - rendering them entirely immobile and unable to perform even basic tasks. He's also armed with an rotatable turret and vastly improved mobility, which the same cannot be said for the Jagdmammut.
However unlike the Jagdmammut, this tank is not a Tank Destroyer - it's simply a Heavy Tank which is good against all targets.
I assume the cryo missiles will temporarily disable a unit, and will have a long reload time? That's pretty cool, should give it an edge over other heavy tanks in 1 on 1 battles.
They are like Shenlong EMP missiles, so they don't disable instantly they require multiple to hit the enemy.
