THIS IS A MOD OF RISE OF THE REDS! Rise of the Reds is a great mod made by our friends at SWR Productions. This mod is an Overhaul-style mode of ROTR - a reimagining of the formula in a more balanced and fun way for online play. It adds many new units and abilities and many balance changes. The aim of the mod is to change the way you perceive the gameplay of Rise of the Reds 1.87 to something that is more similar to Zero Hour and other classic C&C games.
Human rights activists in the United States have been fighting the country's involvement in various wars for decades, & the senseless loss of American lives in the foolish attempt to secure world peace, a prime example being the war against the now infamous GLA.
The logical next step was the implementation of unmanned ground & air vehicles, thus the construction of the 'Drone Production Center' was authorized; staffed by technicians and other support crew, the facility allows for high-level maintenance and tech support for all drones.
The powerful communications equipment present at the structure can be used to broadcast battlefield wide commands, shifting the drones to and from offensive and defensive postures, as the situation calls for it; these being divided into three protocols: 'Hammer', 'Shield' & 'Spear'.
The cost of maintaining a real-time connection with the drones is understandably high, which is reflected by the facility's enormous power consumption; should it go out for any reason, the drones will be rendered effectively inert until it is restored; making power the Achilles heel of any drone-based strategy.
