Will probably look similar to how Raxus Prime was in Force Unleashed. That's my starting point anyway.

From what I understand, Raxus Prime was ravaged by war in ancient times and became a dumping ground shortly thereafter because the environment had been made inhospitable. It wasn't due to industrialization and pollution.

No,it was due to that, actually.Raxus was one of the three core worlds in Kingdom of Cron, later succeeded by Xim the Despot's empire, all luscious and beautiful. It was around 14,300 BBY when the major Republic corporations started building factories all over the place, while completely disregarding the damage to the environment, and all throughout that period up until Clone wars it was used both as an industrial hub and a junk/graveyard world. It was like Vulpter, but the damage was done by multiple corporations and races, not just one.

One of the distinct features of Vulpter were two black "belts" of space trash. Are you going to add something like that ?

According to one artist's interpretation, yes. I've created a particle effect that scatters debris in an orbit around the planet in a spherical pattern.

That said, if people would prefer the bands, I can certainly add them. I've taken a little artistic license with this one.

Description

Vulpter is a "deep core" world that is located about as close to the center of the galaxy as is possible to still remain habitable to known lifeforms.

That said, the indigenous Vulptereen took little regard for their planet and polluted it to the point that they had to almost entirely abandon the world. The pollution itself eventually spread offworld and Vultper is surrounded by a cloud of orbiting garbage, which makes navigation hazerdous for inexperienced pilots and often provides easy ambush sites for pirates and slavers. All native flora and fauna, save the Vulptereen themselves and a few rodent species that adapted to the toxic atmosphere and water were driven to extinction.

A few scattered cities do remain on the surface but they are mostly outposts for the booming scrap trade business that has taken root over the last few generations, as most everyone now uses Vulpter as a sort of intergalactic dumping ground, not unlike Raxus Prime. Besides the scap business, Vulpter is also known for its podracing factories and is in fact home to the notable Dud Bolt.

In-game, controlling Vulpter will increase daily credit flow by a small amount.

*Over the next week, I will be releasing improved planet models interspersed with any regular updates that may come out. Stay tuned for these as there will be several!
