looks almost spot on. the only thing is I don't think the back of it had such a drastic drop. I feel like in the Return of the Jedi movie the back of the bike was a little fuller and bulkier. Most impressive no mater what! Cant wait to race some New Republic troopers!
one question. Will the scout trooper survive if the bike is destroyed?
Actually... Believe it or not, the model for the bike is the same model used in original EaW...but I remapped the UVs and gave it a new texture. There are some cosmetic changes to the model...but they are VERY small :) Lol
And no, there will not be any survivors when a bike is killed. I thought it was odd when this happened in EaW...and never mind the fact that this is the ONLY unit that had a survivor anyway.
Seems reasonable.
Also very nice job with the texture, I especially like the scratches.
One question though: Will there be retextures for snow maps?
I rememeber a picture in the incredible cross-section book on the page of the AT-AT with a snow scout on it, who had a completely white armor and a white bike.
That would be even more awesome.
There will be a snow variant for Scout troopers. The bike will be white, and armor will be white...with other changes. I drew a concept piece for it last night in about 30 seconds. I will post it later.
Wow, you're really putting a lot of effort into this.
Without exaggeration I think when the new version is out RotM is going to be flatout the best mod available for EaW so far.
There are some other great mods out there but your dedication and attention to detail is unmatched imho.
And the fact that it's about Mando'ade makes it even better.
