The Keldabe was designed sometime in the later years of the Galactic Civil war, after the liberation of Mandalore from Imperial forces. It is somewhat smaller than other capital ships but don't let that fool you! It's size is a result of a very focused role, broadside space combat. Unlike ships fielded by the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant, the Keldabe isn't meant to carry transport ships, invasion forces, refugees, or dignitaries. It's singular purpose is to pummel enemy starships into space dust. To that end, many extraneous systems and areas could be eliminated from the design, producing a product that was honed, efficient, and yes...a tad smaller than it's counterparts. Either way, the Keldabe has proven a very effective creation and is a favorite among Mandalorian fleet commanders.
and no need for a hanger bay lol. its a battleship not a carrier!
The only other ship in the Mando faction which has one is the Lictor. They needed another with a hanger and it worked so well on this ship. Even WW2 battleships could deploy aircraft though. No, not on the same scale as a carrier of course, but float planes could be dropped off the side via crane and used to spot for the gunners. Anyway, the term "battleship" doesn't necessarily preclude any chance of having a fighter compliment.

Thanks! Its the same canons on the Vengeance. It carries a single squadron of Kyr Galaar fighters. Not much...but very strong.

Not exactly. The side guns are the same as the vengeance but it also has 12 turbolaser turrets on the main hull and two more on the bow. It also wont have power to shields. Its function will be quite different overall.

Hey the occupation of Mandalore happened in Legends too. Mandalore Fenn Shysa was the one who organized the resistance to drive them offworld...and then convinced Boba Fett to take his place as Mandaore when he died. His story is actually really important.

Amazing model, but to give some sarcastic criticism, you did say it was meant for broadside combat in the photo description, however looking at it, it stands to reason that this ship performs far better in a stand off bow attack role rather than side-to-side lol
