Love it , love everything about it!
The Cylon visor , nice.
the heavy dude looks really cool.
And are those guns different , like a halo gun ... or is that the angle.

The guns haven't changed since the original design I made. They are however, not original EaW weapons...I did make them custom for the mod. The design was derived from the Halo Battle Rifle though.. Good eye.

They actually look like the F.A.M.A.S assault rifle.

These shots were taken from the ALO viewer and composited in Photoshop...so consider these in-game ;)

Don't hate me, the armours and guns do look spectacular. But have you tried doing the Westar series of blasters?

Oh it looks so awesome! A true fighting force to be reckoned with!

I especially like the diversity in helmets, the look of the armor and the cool new pulse rifle. Looking forward to seeing more armor variation.

Keep up the good work!

Truly great! The changes really paid off I think.
And i can only agree with Ori'verda, more variation is always good. :D

On that topic, would it actually be possible to have slight variations in the teamcolored areas? Like individual markings and stuff? Nothing too fancy, just some extra stripes here and there.

Yes I can make variations to the teamcolors as well. I'll take a crack at it and see if it looks better. I've done it successfully with other units in the past.

You tellin' me that it was possible for the original game to look like this? Madness.

Will each soldier in a squad have randomized helmet mods? Or does this game not support that?

Madness? This. Is. RotM! *kick*

The game doesn't support true randomization. You have to code in each variant...so basically the same variations show up each time you deploy a squad. Not perfect but better than all identical infantry, I thought.

This is true. Well, as I said before (more or less), it's the little, sometimes nigh imperceptible things that make this mod one of the best I've played.

Of course, the fact that the modder takes the time to at least look at, and quite often reply to, comments certainly helps the mod.

:) What can I say? I appreciate all the support from the community. Hearing the feedback and critique is half the fun and it helps me think of things and improve in ways that I couldn't on my own. Having all the other opinions pushes me to do better and be more creative.

I'm guessing that your penchant for being slightly perfectionist gives additional push?

Its a trait I picked up from my father...who is also an artist. Lol. Don't do anything half-***. Yes, I push myself to excel and always learn something new each day.

On the topic of variation: Have you thought about doing similar things for all infantry units? E.g. variations in ammo pouches, backpacks and pauldron for stormies?
Afaik all Stormtrooper units in any longer engagement outside of imperial installations carried varied additional equipment like that seen on the sandtroopers in Ep. IV. I once tried out swapping 3 stormies per squad for sandtrooper models and it already looked pretty great and added much diversity.

Doing this treatment for stormtroopers is the lowest priority since they are meant to look more or less identical. NR troops will be more diverse though in regards to skin color, equipment, etc.

I understand, even though I think the uniformity was partly disregarded in favor of practical combat equipment, especially in the Remnant.
Anyway I just really liked the look of the imperial forces in the opening battle of the Empire #36 comic: Archive.facetasm.com

Yeah, I will probably vary them up a bit when all is said and done... There are just other things I'd like to get to first.

Will the different units within the squad have different damage, rates of fire or ranges depending on their gun?

Great idea with the helmet variation and the new rifle looks very fitting. However is it intentional that one of the mandalorians has two antenna attached to his helmet? It just doesn't really make sense to me.

Description

Took some community advice and added leg armor. Tweaked the texture a tad in places and VASTLY improved the rigging to get rid of some serious vertice pulling issues during animation. Also added some variation to the helmets, hoping that it makes them feel more personal, as Mando troops should be.
