For those who are wondering what his powers will be... Like all Inquisitors, Brakiss was well trained in manipulation and coersion tactics and had a way of getting into people's heads. He will be able to convert enemy units, similar to Palpatine.

Brakiss was also very gifted at using the Force to manipulate fire. I plan on modifying an existing Force power to utilize fire to burn through infantry. It will likely act similar to Bossk's plasma grenade...but as a Force ability rather than an actual grenade-type of weapon.

Deep Core... Unknown Regions... Hapes Cluster... Corporate Sector. Long ago, the four sectors lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Shadow Academy attacked.

I love the Avatar series, and am happy to see that there are others here who have seen it to.

So in a way, Brakiss will be like Fire Lord Ozai... Sweet!

One thing I love about EAW is that it may be an old game, but there is an active and dedicated community who keep the game alive.

Unfortunately, an EaW 2 will likely never happen. RTS games just aren't as popular anymore and Disney is all about money...so they likely won't even consider making a sequel or even rebooting with new canon.

Disney would make money we are talking about Empire at War 2 if they went to E3 and only said "hey were making empire at war 2" and then left everyone would lose their ****.

I hope you're correct. However, since Zann and the events of Forces of Corruption were hardly canon to begin with, its far more likely that they'd just make a new game altogether.

or they could just retcon the consortium and not mention them at all.

Well, as far as force abilities go, a fire based one will be rather unique, if I don't say so myself.

Does his outfit take cues from Palpatine's Episode III robes? Looks like it does, which would fit with the whole devotion to the Emperor and Empire thing. Otherwise, it's just a major coincidence.

I don't care how stupid it may sound, but when the mod comes out i'm soooo going to roleplay Brakiss as another Palpatine clone

Description

Kidnapped by Imperial Inquisitors as a very small child because of his latent Force ability, Brakiss had been trained his entire life to hate the Jedi and hunt them.

After the death of the Emperor above Endor, Brakiss was thrown into confusion and grief (as were many of the Emperor's Force-sensative tools, such as Mara Jade) and became desperate to rebuild the Empire in the name of his dead master. As such, he eagerly followed the directions of the surviving Inquisitors and infiltrated Luke's new Jedi Academy on Yavin, posing as a potential student.

Luke immediately saw through the deception but kept this to himself and allowed Brakiss to remain on Yavin, with the hopes of bringing him to the light. Brakiss showed amazing skill with a lightsaber and the Force and even helped other students put to rest the Force Ghost of Exar Kun himself, who haunted the ruins of Yavin's moon. However, in a final test orchestrated by Luke the Force revealed to Brakiss his own misguided and tortured soul, showing him that his life had been lie which was manipulated by the Emperor since he was born. This revelation shattered Brakiss and rather than use the experience to redeem himself, as Luke had hoped, Brakiss fled the Academy in terror and denial, unwilling to accept that Emperor had used him his entire life.

It was at this time that another fallen student of Luke's, who now went by the name of Kueller, found Brakiss in his fragile state and offered to help him regain his power and also convinced him that Luk's "final test" was set up intentionally to make Brakiss weak and destroy him. Now filled with a lust for revenge and fully given to the Dark Side, Brakiss and Kueller teamed up to put an end to Skywalker and corrupt as many of his students as possible at the Shadow Academy.
