Please note that this mod has been tested ONLY on a STEAM VERSION of the game. I do not own the old version so I cannot solve your problems. Refer to Total War Center for other solutions.

Well, what can I say, I wanted to keep it in the oven a little more but due to multiple circumstances, including the recent viral outbreak, I was compelled to release Rise of the Eagles right away. These have been some exhausting 5 years, and now it is time to put an end to the wait. While the main campaign has been modelled towards a French campaign, you can play whoever you like. Setting it up for Hotseat has always been my primary objective but regrettably, I dont have friends that play hotseat, and I couldnt even start working on a proper script designed for that. Some nasty crashes didnt make things easier either. However, you are free to set up the scripts as you please so that you may play Hotseat as you see fit.

Things that are missing \ known glitches:

- No new town\city models: I'm sorry but it just requires too much time out of my daily life to create a proper city, and I do not wish to release an incomplete product. Therefore, this will remain tomporarily unsolved (I dont know how long it will take, dont ask for estimates).
- Missing walls on Huge Cities: Due to the removal of the huge walls and gates from all cities and towns, some holes in the huge city models have appeared. However, they're hidden in a single portion of the city and can just be ignored outright. I couldnt fix this issue because the program associated with compiling and decompiling the models requires me to go through billions of single meshes with different textures in order to even locate where the glitch is, and frankly it isnt worth it.
- Dying horse animation glitch: For unknown reasons, the new marka horses that I've implemented came with a really bizarre glitch. Whenever a horseman dies, the dying body will freeze in a vertical position for 3-4 seconds before returning to its intended location. I have no idea how to fix this. I have double checked instructions and I redid the replacement process three times already, to no awail. I wont waste anymore time, so if anyone is able to give it a shot, by all means be my guest.
- Some names wont be displayed: It would seem as if the game deliberately decides which names to display. Some generals, despite having their names properly typed in the correct files, simply wont have their name displayed. You can recognize them with their portraits however. I have no idea why this happens.

And that would be all for now. I sincerely hope you'll have fun. Stay safe, go get some supplies for the coming months, and report things that do not work. I will accept some help at this stage, since its officially released in Beta.

Did you copy the Med2.exe and rename it to Kingdoms as a copy? You need to do these things for the bat files commonly used to work

Congratulations on the release of the 1.0 beta. I think you should add some pictures and maybe a video to the article- then maybe MODDB will let it be shown under the med2 offical page. It would give this mod more attention.

Extract it into your "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods" and extract the patch onto it after you do the first part. If you don't have an extractor program like winrar, then you can't do this process. This is just the basic process of installing mods. I don't know any specifics from this mod.
