General:

  • Tweaked to work with 2023 Steam update
  • Five playable factions (Zann Consortium, Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire, Black Sun pirates and The Hutt Cartel) + 4 non-playable (CIS Remnant, Ohnaka Gang, Pyke Syndicate and Mandalorian Militia)
  • New Music (Start menu, Hutt and Black Sun specific backgrounds, Empire and Rebel added to the existing playlists, music added from Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One and Shadows of the Empire)
  • New sounds for Mandalorian pistols, sniper rifles, Kyle's Bryar pistol and Ahsoka's force speed
  • Campaigns for all tastes: all five factions, only Black Sun added, and just Rebels vs the Empire (FOC and EAW updated campaigns and one original)
  • Fully converted and playable EAW story Campaign (Empire and Rebels)
  • 22 new galactic locations: Abandoned Republic Starbase, Anaxes Asteroids(variant), Concord Dawn, Duro, Falleen, Florrum, Gall, Gamorr, Jakku, Jedha, Lothal, Mygeeto, Nar Kaaga, Nar Shaddaa, Rhen Var, Ringo Vinda, Rodia, Scarif, Starforge, Trandosha, Rattatak, Ziost
  • Two new GCs: "A Prince's Revenge" Featuring the Black Sun vs the Empire and "Battle for the Underworld" featuring only underworld factions.

Tweaks:

  • New Planet Land Art for Rodia, Geonosis, Mandalore, Scarif, Mygeeto, Ziost, Korriban and Dathomir.
  • Fully remastered ingame unit and hero icons.
  • New particle effects: Empire has blue protons, Black Sun orange ones, orange and yellow blaster bolts for the Mandalorians, new laser textures, purple bolts for some heroes, faster moving projectiles, added blue space lasers to some units, new unit abilities with new particle effects, Ion cannos projectile based on ESB and Ion torpedoes based on Rogue One, new proton look and SFX for CIS bombers approximating ROTS visuals
  • New Turbolaser effects
  • New Galaxy texture, particle and size
  • Ssdcommander's space station spawning system
  • Replaced some unit names with correct/complete ones
  • Enhanced Vader's and Sidious Force powers (whirlwind and lightning damages everything and telekinesis can be applied to vehicles and heroes - except force sensitives and droids) I did that because frankly no bounty hunter or smuggler has any chance against a main Jedi or Sith hero
  • Fighters rescaled to 75%, corvettes, frigates and cruiser rescaled more canonically
  • Planets rescaled to 75%
  • Reworked AI, Hutts and Black Sun fully active in GC and skirmish
  • Multiple tweaks and fixes
  • New stars background
  • Retextured Pirate Interceptor Frigate
  • New Maw map base on Solo: A Star Wars Story
  • Minor improvements to ground flyer movements (Snowspeeder, Z-95 variant, TIE Striker, Starhopper)
  • New sand variant of Rebel Infantry
  • New basic, forest/swamp and snow Imperial Stormtrooper variants
  • Consortium Grenadiers now feature multiple different species within squads

The enemy only attacks me in galactic conquest. I mean, they still fight each other, but only when others get in the way of their efforts to attack me. I was playing Black Sun, lost every world except one by day 20, and the Empire, rebellion, and Consortium kept throwing massive fleets at each other in orbit over my planet until one was there long enough to invade with overwhelming force.

That's part of the old AI where Pirates are the first priority for attack. I'll try to fix that.

Wow, this mod is like a dream come true for me.

Ever since I played C&C tib sun, I have been obsessed with wanting to play as the minor factions, and the Black Sun faction only fueled this in Empire at War.

This is much better then any thing I could have dreamed of! Thank you very much for this awesome mod! You have made my day.

Good mod but now I can't play the vanilla game even after I deleted it, the game still opens up to the Rise of the Crime Lords menu, it's annoying. Please help.

Did you play on the Steam version of the game? If so you should try and see if you changed the launch options so that it does not continue to use the mod path.

you may have put it into the EAW Data folder intead of a mod folder if that is the case just reinstall your game
