I recently watched a video how to make HL2 EP2 ladders. Wich revealed that instead of func_ladder you have to make a func_useableladder. So I now have ladders in my mod. I hope this makes alot of people happy. Also I plan to be putting a video up that shows people how to make ladders with this entity. But I have made this a video so I have to get a youtube account first.

Just dont add the gravity gun in the mod
so is this mod on the episode 2 engine i think you said that somewhere if so good i can't stand the shadow systems in hl2 and episode 1. i think the episode two engine is better for visual effects
I would be happy to help you with this (even if it's just making the map a little more stylish/realistic) trust me i've experienced many problems with hammer and i haven't came across a problem that I have given up on
lol honestly i might play this if its actually fun.
Just for refrence, this mod is more to expand my skills. I just need a little practice on the modding skills. I have made other maps but they weren't even close to half life style. Like I took a month making a complicated map of my house but I had no compiler to add it to the mod as an actual playable mod. But I am still trying to add some things plus I haven't given up with the ladders.
If you have trouble with ladders the most common problem is having one of the ladder entities in contact with brushes or models.
