the nasa mobile launch platforms are what the fatboy was originally based off. giving it a nuke silo would make it an mlp(maybe not the nasa rocket mlp but...) and then you could call it armored.
Fortress can mean "defense or security" that name applies to this unit cos it has a shield for defense and massive guns for security, and Armored applies cos well its armored.
If it really bugs you that much when you get the mod change its name yourself.
P.S. even though the name Armored fortress doesn't make cents to some people its still miles in front of a lot of names GPG uses, like would be happy if we called it "bigthingwithguns"

It takes 2 minutes for the tank to bring 60% of the hostile armor out of operation as the latter is not capable to approach it any closer.

fortress's are made from no metal materials there for dont come under armored if you know what I mean say, armored in vehicles talk means it metal plated, so calling a fortress amored could mean a Castle made from rock is amored plated in metal.

I like it, but it does seem to be taking an awful lot of shots to kill single units.
It feels like its fire power looks a lot more damaging then it actually is.
