lol...funny how in supcom base defenses get kinda useless once you have the ability to blockade them with a wall of experimentals. i can just imagine an engineer building a turret when all the sudden, that huge t5 artillery rolls up. poor turret...
the way it unpacks makes me think of its final upgrade somehow unpacking tank tracks. that would take care of the base expansion problem. im thinking of the base part splitting in half.
this looks like the perfect metal extractor defense. build them at your t3 land factory, have them roll out to your metal extractors and unpack. mobile base defenses would make it easier to expand your base. fits the whole meaning of "take the war to the enemy" saying. make them powerful enouigh to fend off the average hit and run attacks.
make it so they unpack only when they are stationary, slightly weaker when mobile, but fast enough to get to the place thats being attacked.
oh btw the top set of guns are AA :)

so, a six-barreled cannon, will it fire like the battleships (all at once) or will it fire in bursts (rapidfire) ?
